Single Room - Close To City Centre

Apartment - Private room · Conyngham Road, Dublin, Dublin D8, Ireland

Amazing location, right on the edge of the city positioned with Pheonix Park on one side and the River Liffey on the other. The apartment is in a secure well-maintained development, made up of three-storey red-brick buildings, surrounded by mature gardens, hidden away from the main road.

The Space

Female Guests Only - No Males (sorry)

The apartment is spacious and clean, consisting of a living room with a balcony over-looking a section of the gardens, a well equipped kitchen with dining table, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and electric shower.

I live in the apartment full time, and my boyfriend is generally here 1 night during the week and at the weekends (his work is outside of Dublin). I work weekdays so I'm gone during the day but will be in the apartment in the evenings and at the weekend.

When you come to stay with me you will have your own private single bedroom, with bedside table and lamp and a section of the wardrobe for storing you belongings. I will provide fresh bed linen and towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and the makings of a basic continental breakfast (cereal, bread, butter, milk, fruit, juice, tea & coffee).

Transport is excellent for getting into town. A two minute walk to the main road will have you on a bus straight into the city centre - Temple Bar, Henry St, O’Connell St, Trinity College, Dame St, Grafton St and the many tourist attractions these have to offer (approx. 10-15 mins). The same two minute walk will bring you into Phoenix Park where you can find Dublin Zoo and Áras an Uachtaráin, and if you’re lucky you might stumble across some deer.

A 15 minute walk will have you at Hueston Train Station and the Luas which runs right into town and connects to the DART line if you fancy checking out one of the beaches along the coast.

If you are female (sorry guys) and would like to see more pictures of the apartment then send me a message along with any other questions you may have and I’ll get back. Looking forward to hearing from you :)

  • Greatly enjoyed my stay in Dublin! This has been the perfect starting point for all sorts of sightseeing and activities, the location is very convenient. The flat is nice and clean. Charlene is a wonderful host and has repeatedly helped me out with tips on where to go and how to get there. Definitely recommend it!

  • Charlene is a fantastic host. She is very friendly, thoughtful, helpful and has a great sense of humour and she gave me a lot of great tips about Dublin. I moved here for work and staying with Charlene was the perfect start.
Also the bed is really comfy and the apartment is in a good and nice area, great for getting around in Dublin.
    I definetly recommend her room.

  • Charlene was a wonderful host and her place offered everything that one would need while on travel. She was excellent to coordinate with and her place was cozy and clean. I couldn't have asked to stay in a better location, right next to Phoenix Park and all the buses that run right next to her place will take you to city center. For a little less $ you can take the Luas to/from city center, which is still only a mere 5-10 minute walk. I highly recommend staying with Charlene, and plan to stay with her again on my next trip back!

  • Hi! I stayed at Charlene's home for a few days and I really enjoyed of the stay. The apartment is so cute and clean which has very pretty views. It's close to the city centre and just in front of Phoenix Park.
Charlene is amazing and so welcoming. She is very helpful and recommended to me a lot of things to do in Dublin and we enjoyed talking and having dinner together.
    Highly recommend!

  • It was just perfect! My first Airbnb-experience and I couldn’t have found better hosts to stay with than Charlene and Niall. They were very caring and helpful, making me feel more than welcome and at home. The place is located in a very safe and quiet area just a few minutes by bus from city center. There are regular bus services running the whole day the whole week. Phoenix Park is just around the corner. My room was nice, clean and cosy as was the whole apartment and I could use also the very well-equipped kitchen and living room. I absolutely enjoyed staying with Charlene and Niall, getting to know their stories about life and future in Ireland. I highly recommend Charlene and Niall as Airbnb-hosts and am very much looking forward to my next stay with them both!

Heya!! I’m 27 years old, originally from the countryside but have been living in Dublin for 9 years now. I came to Dublin to go to college and have been working here since I finished my degree 5 years ago. I've decided to go travelling sometime in the next year or two and have realised that I need to start planning ahead and saving now to make that happen, and with my spare bedroom not being used very often, I thought Airbnb might be a good way to help other people out with their travels while learning about other countries and trying to fund my own travels.
