Very clean place. Nice hot shower!! It is a much smaller place than what it looks like on the pictures. Wifi was very bad. We could only connect in the hallway. We went in the winter. The bedroom was warm but the rest of the apartment was freezing!

We had a great experience at Casa Bodrum. The apartment was nice and clean. We would highly recommend staying there if you need your own personal space. The place is also very near to one of the best beaches in Bodrum, nice restaurants and a mini bus ride away from the city center.

Our stay in Casa Bodrum was absolutely wonderful. The pension is actually located in the next town over from Bodrum, in Gumbet, so we used Casa Bodrum as a base to explore Bodrum and the rest of the peninsula. The pension is close to local transport so you can easily access the surrounding towns via cab or minibus. There are also lots of cafés and a markets close by. Our room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing and provided a peaceful oasis to come home to at the end of the day. The pool was also a huge perk! Antje is such a lovely and generous host-- we highly recommend for your stay in Bodrum!

We went to Bodrum for a few days to rest up before exploring Istanbul, but we only ended up exhausted. I don't want to be harsh in my review because Antje was great. But I also want future guests to understand our experience of the pros and cons of this place so I will be honest about my experience. On the upside: This apartment was small and sweet and had everything we needed for our home base in Bodrum. We enjoyed living like a local away from the touristy resorts with nearby grocery store and shops and easy access to the main street and the dolmus (small bus) that run regularly between towns. Antje was great at communicating and checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. Cons: The mattress was very hard and you could feel the springs. When the AC was on, it would cycle between blasting freezing air directly onto the bed and then idling while hot stale air built up before cycling back to freezing. The AC circuit breaker occasionally shut off in the middle of the night so we'd wake up sweltering and fumble in the dark to find the circuit breaker to switch it back on. When we left the windows open the 3/4-length curtains would blow and leave us exposed to anyone walking by. We figured a way to rig them to prevent them from blowing, so leaving the windows open worked one night. But the next night, there was a club in the area playing really really loud techno from 9PM Monday until 4AM Tuesday. So you either risk the noise from having windows open or you risk alternating freezing or hot from having the AC on. In all fairness, we didn't mention our discomfort to Antje other than the noise from the club. We didn't imagine there was much she could do about a hard mattress, short curtains that limited our privacy, an overloaded electrical panel and an old poorly functioning AC. In retrospect, I do wish I'd brought up all of these issues with Antje. It wasn't until posting this (edited) review that I learned that she had other - more comfortable - units available. Had I known, I would have requested one. So please take that into consideration if you're a guest at Cosy Suit in Bodrum.

A german living over 20 years in Bodrum. Since 70's i came every year to Bodrum with my husband. Then in the beginning of the 80's we decided to move and grew up our children here. I love the people, food and culture where I feel myself so comfortable over almost 30 years.
