I had a great stay at Lien's home. This is a nice place to escape from Hanoi's city buzz, good for relaxing after long day traveling. I have slept well for all 3 nights. The bed and blanket are so comfy :))
The neighborhood area is safe and residential, which is take around 10-15 minutes to Hanoi's old city by Taxi ( cost around 3 USD )
Lien is super nice! :) she is friendly and always respect to guest's privacy. She can help you plan your trip and book all the tour you want. I sent her message asking a lot before I arrive there ,and she gave me a reply promptly.
She prepared yummy breakfast ( even I departed home so early, the meal is always ready for me ) she called for taxi ,organized airport pick up service, and gave me the information about Hanoi.
Before leaving ,she invited me to dinner in a local restaurant in the the city together :) She even prepared snacks and water for me to eat it while waiting for the flight at the airport ! Thank you Lien :)
So If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay in Hanoi with a nice host, this is a good choice!
I spent three days at Lien's place in Long bien and enjoyed every minute. The location is precisely as described: a large room, bright, clean, airy and quiet, and being away from downtown Hanoi is a real treat. It only takes 30 minutes by bus and less by taxi to get to and from the centre and costs very little. The neighbourhood is residential and very safe and peaceful.
There is a bonus here and that is Lien herself. She is an accomplished English speaker, bright and cheerful, with a deep knowledge of Vietnamese history and culture and a passion to share that knowledge. The fact that Lien is a travel agent makes it easy for a guest to get information about Hanoi and to perhaps book a trip or two to other parts of the country. Each morning after a hearty breakfast, I would quiz Lien about Hanoi and Vietnam and those conversations added to the richness of my experience. When I return to Hanoi, I will do my best to stay with her again.
It was one awesome experience stay in Vietnam, hanoi! And it was all thanks to lien for her help in helping me to plan the trip! I didn't had much time to plan for the trip and all I did was to tell lien how I would like my trip to be like and boom an itinerary turn out!
As for the stay under lien's roof, she'll do her best to make you feel at home, even waking up at 5am to cook breakfast for me! That's how wonderful a host she is! Thanks for the stay lien and thanks for the experience in Vietnam once again!
Thanks to Lien!
She gave many trip information to me. so, my trip was easy.
And the room is so clean and comfort.
Also, she made brunch that was so delicious. so thank you.
Lien was a terrific hostess! Definitely over extended herself for us and made us feel completely welcome and comfortable. We booked her place for only a night but ended up staying with her for most of our time in Vietnam. She gave us great tips and information about where to go and how to get there, as well as helped us to book all of our tours to Halong Bay and Sapa.
My friend had gotten sick and Lien even got her medicine. She cooked many meals for us and her food was wonderful!
The room was tidy and comfortable with a tv, refrigerator which she had stocked, clean comfortable bed, and a private bathroom.
She really did make it feel like home. I would recommend Lien for anyone traveling to Vietnam. She truly is the BEST!! Miss her already...
Staying with Lien was a wonderful experience. She made us feel very welcome, with plenty of help with our travels. The room was large and very comfortable. She stocked it with fresh fruit and other snacks. She made us delicious breakfasts in the morning and dinner on our last night. Her home is in a quiet neighbourhood in Long Bien District. We thought it was much nicer than staying in the Old Quarter. You have to travel 15 minutes to get to the Old Quarter. It's about (phone number hidden) VND by taxi or 7,000 VND by bus. Buses are very frequent so it's easy. Thank you Lien from Daniel and Helena :)
Lien was a very caring and wonderful host. She helped me organise my trip and gave me a lot of local knowledge. The room was great, was nice and peaceful, definitely recommend!
