The Old West Side Historic District is the oldest neighborhood historic district in the USA, full of houses from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
There is a route 12 bus stop right across the street (toward downtown) and right next door (toward Stadium Blvd.). 12A goes from the house to downtown, 12B goes from downtown to the house.
No smoking indoors, we are in a family oriented neighborhood so be respectful about noise levels, etc. Please take your shoes off when inside. Let us know if you need on-site parking, use the concrete driveway between the yellow (our) and blue house. There is also open parking on Eberwhite St. right across from us.
We love staying at Daniel and Jessica's house in A2! We have been there several times and love the feel and coziness of their house. This past time we played in the backyard and threw snow balls before the snow melted. Their house is very warm and inviting. I love the 3 levels. This is highly recommended.
Daniel and Jessica's place is very cute and charming. We knew it was the right choice for us when we saw a peace sign on the front porch. The space was clean organized and the bathroom had heated floors! Awesome! Although we didn't see Daniel for very long, he was very respectful of our space and was kind and welcoming. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thanks so much guys for a great stay!
Jessica and Dan were terrific hosts for our overnight stay in Ann Arbor. We enjoyed our conversation with them before turning in for the night. The neighborhood is charming with many nice historic homes. The accommodations were comfortable; the lower level was cozy and convenient with a full bathroom! Our only regret is that our stay was not longer! Would've liked the chance to explore Ann Arbor a bit.
Had a great time. Danielle and Jessica were out of town but gave great instructions and had no problems or frustrations. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, and convenient location.
Daniel and Jessica were terrific hosts. Daniel responded very quickly and was very easy to communicate with. The house is a beautifully restored historic house in a lovely safe neighborhood. There were four of us with a baby. We would happily stay there again.
Dan was a great host--- clear instructions, easy to contact and very responsive. Space was warm, clean and in a good location. Moreover, Dan was very accessible to help answer questions about local places to eat and recommend neighborhoods to apartment hunt (the purpose of my trip.) Highly recommend!
We are an academic couple that enjoys travel and adventure, everything from art museums to the great outdoors. We really appreciate having Ann Arbor as our primary residence and all of the cultural opportunities that it provides. There is always something going on in town and the university hosts many free events. We will be glad to share advice on sights, travel, etc.
