The Old West Side Historic District is the oldest neighborhood historic district in the USA, full of houses from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Easy walk to the downtown area with the many of the hottest restaurants and shops in Michigan.
There is a route 12 bus stop right across the street (toward downtown/Main St.) and right next door (toward Stadium Blvd.). 12A goes from the house to downtown, 12B goes from downtown to the house.
No smoking indoors, we are in a family oriented neighborhood so be respectful about noise levels, etc. Please take your shoes off when inside. Let us know if you need on-site parking, use the concrete driveway between the yellow (our) and blue house. There is also open parking on Eberwhite St. right across from us.
First stopped by at the house to check in, we felt very welcomed. Dan showed us around, telling us where things are, etc. Very comfortable to stay, has everything we need! Would come back again! Thanks!
Daniel and Jessica were great hosts! They were flexible and communicative with our big family and soft plans. The house was beautiful in a historic, and picturesque neighborhood less than an easy mile walk to town. The beds were very comfortable with foam pads and the front porch was great for people watching. It was a great experience and I would recommend staying at Daniel and Jessica's to anyone.
Great location for visiting the University of Michigan. Daniel and Jessica are helpful hosts. The downstairs bathroom is recently renovated and was spacious and clean as was the downstairs room itself.
Very satisfied. Basement suite as described with semi-private entrance. Great location. So quiet downstairs I didn't even hear the loud thunderstorm overnight!
Wonderful house, everything was perfectly set up, very clear and helpful house guidelines. Daniel and Jessica are super nice (Jessica even had coffee for us our first morning) and interesting people, and the stay was fantastic. Couldn't have hoped for better!
Daniel greeted us, kindly showed us around the house, gave us some tips on new places in town. The house was perfect for our getaway. The location to downtown Ann Arbor could not have been better and we enjoyed exploring the neighborhood. Thanks for a great weekend!
This was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend. It is comfortable, spacious, and inviting. We hope to stay again!
