Our place is little heaven! It is spacious and have 3 rooms plus a dining room communicating with the living room. The kitchen if fully equipped : espresso machine, blender, food processor, mixer, etc.
Washing and drying machines are in the basement and cost 1.50 $.
You have access to everything in the apartment. Feel free to cook, watch tv or read on the balcony!
I love meeting people, sharing dinner and giving advices and directions about the city. But if you prefer just to come and go and do your things, I totally respect that. I am not always home either but when I am, I usually cook or read and I enjoyed having company.
Cafes and restaurant at short walk distance. You can walk to downtown, the mountain, Mont-Royal Avenue, St-Laurent Street, you name it!
Parking : you can usually find a spot in the street but make sure it is not reserved for permit holders. If no place is available on Hutchison, look on Villeneuve. There is also a paying parking one block away from my place, at 400 Laurier West. It cost maximum 15$ per day.
Bus : the number 80 bus stops at the corner of the block; the most regular service in Montreal, with buses heading downtown every four minutes during the daytime, as well as service all night long. Mont-Royal metro station is 7 min walk.
The place will be pretty quiet since I will be the only person sharing the place with visitors. Feel free to make it yours while you are here!
Please also note that I have a cat. Uhura is adorable, playful and very friendly.
I have a regular work schedule. Therefore, I would like the apartment to be quiet after 11 pm on week days (though you can come and go at any time). Beside that, I am vegan so I prefer if people don't cook meat, fish and dairy in my apartment. Feel free to cook anything else!
I really like the location and apartment itself. Sophie was very welcoming and nice, which made me feel like at home. Her cat is also really cute) i definately would like to visit Montreal again and stay in this apartment for the time if the trip.
Je me suis tout de suite sentie comme chez moi grâce à l’accueil chaleureux de Sophie et à l'atmosphère convivial de l'appartement!
Sophie was a very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional host. Her place was homely, clean, and very well situated. I was able to pretty much get everywhere I wanted by just walking. And the neighborhood was in the middle of everything so lots of diverse options in terms of food, nightlife, shopping within a 15 minute walk. The huge Mont Royal Park is pretty much just next door and is a beautiful hike. Would definitely stay here again!
Sophie has the most wonderful room to rent and the location is pretty much central to everything. She suggested great recommendations, allowed us to stay up late (we were quiet!), and cooks awesome vegan food (didn't eat, just smelled amazing). she had a super friendly cat and even though i am allergic, minimal sneezes happened. having the opportunity to stay at Sophie's place definitely made my adventure in montreal that much more special and i thank her for everything. 2 thumbs up!
I want to thank Sophie for her time flexibility and the ease in which she connected with me. The room was more than I expected, clean, super comfortable bed, and so sweet, there were cookies! I was not staying more than one evening Montreal was a stop over. However Sophie made me feel like I was family. A very rare experience.

Hey! I am Sophie. I love travelling, especially when I experience a culture shock. That being said, I have traveled mostly in Europe (I studied in Spain) and in North America. What I like about Airbnb is that it provides me an opportunity to meet people, which is something I don't get to do otherwise in my day to day life.
I love running, doing yoga, reading graphic novels and cooking vegan food.
