Excellent location in Via del Governo Vecchio a famed little street in the very heart of Rome, just steps away from Piazza Navona, and it’s very quiet and safe even in the small hours of the night, and within walking distance (15 minutes radius) of the most important historical sights in the city centre. You won’t need any bus transit or taxi: you will love to discover the real life of the city by simply strolling around the neighbourhood.
NEW PLATINUM APARTMENT is a two level suite. Downstairs there are two bathrooms and a little room in the entrance, upstairs there are two rooms, one bedroom an one living room with kitchenette and view on Governo Vecchio street.
The apartment is on ground and first floor.
You will hardly find a better location in town. Some of the major tourist attractions in Rome (including St Peter’s Cathedral and the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant’Angelo, Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Largo Argentina, Piazza Venezia, the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, among others) are within comfortable walking distance.
Via del Governo Vecchio, where you will find us, is a cheerful and quiet little street full of trendy boutique shops and nice little places to dine or have a drink at in the evening.

We had an awesome visit to Rome, and being able to stay in Ale's Navona Platinum apartment was a big part of it. The location could not have been better: 2 minutes walk to the Piazza Navona, 5 minutes to Campo de Fiori, 30 seconds to one of the best gelaterias in the city. We walked from the apartment to Trastevere, Vatican City, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon. Could have walked to the Colosseum, but we took a short bus ride instead (only 2 minutes walk to the bus stop).
The lack of wifi was a minor inconvenience, but it seems almost every cafe and restaurant around offers free wifi, so not a big deal. I was connected within minutes of arriving at the apartment. The location and fact that there were 2 bathrooms for my family more than made up for it.
Thanks Ale, we had a wonderful time!
Vraiment super !!! idéalement situé et décoré avec goût.
Seul point négatif pour nous, pas de wifi.
A very nice apartment in an excellent ubication.
Domitilla was very kind and gave us a lot of good recomendations.
Looking forward to come back!!
Un apartamento precioso en una ubicación excelente.
Domitilla nos recibió muy amablemente y nos facilitó lugares donde comer buena pizza, gelato y comida romana.
Muy recomendable!! Me encantaría repetir. Grazie mile!!
Es war alles i.O., supersauber und sehr günstig gelegen.
Domitilla war sehr freundlich und auch supergut organisiert
Great hosts in terms of communications, responsiveness smooth check-in/out. Thanks Ale & Domitilla. Apartment is clean, comfortable and in an excellent location with sights, eateries (& a great gelato along the road). A longer shower curtain would be most useful for one of the bathrooms to prevent water overflowing and perhaps Wifi made available? Nevertheless, it was a wonderful stay.
Очень красивая квартира! Очень удобное место расположения!В жаркое время года, не хватает кондиционера. Максимально удобно для туризма!
A wonderful apartment in the middle of everything. It's just around the corner from the beautiful Piazza Navona and 5 minutes from The Pantheon. The location is on the same street as the best pizza (Baffette) and the best gelato (Frigidarium) in the city so you couldn't be better placed.
The apartment is beautiful. The frescoes, the curved ceilings, it is magical.
Ale is a great host and communication was excellent. His friend Fabio was on hand to let us in and give us the keys.
Feel like a local, in a safe street located close to all the major attractions plus good options for food, booze and general supplies just outside the door. We stayed with 3 young kids and the access to nearby restaurants was great to allow easy access home in the evenings. There is a small but well stocked Carrefour supermarket a few minutes walk away so you can also be well stocked within minutes of arriving. The apartment is funky and recently renovated. Completely as described and the decor looks even more impressive than the photos imply. For those of us addicted to being online, the lack of wifi was a concern, but was solved by the free access provided by nearby restaurants. ON arrival, we ended up being 1.5 hours earlier than scheduled and Fabio, who met us, arrived earlier without any issues with one phone call. For independent travels, or families with 3 kids where hotels always have a "max 4 per room", who would ever want to stay in a hotel when you can live like a local in more comfort on Airbnb, albeit for only a few days. Thanks for the use of your great and perfectly located apartment.
Great location and completely as advertised. Arrival was smooth and we had no problems with the apartment whatsoever.
Fantastic space just a short walk from many of Rome's major sites. We only stayed one night (our last in Italy, but would certainly book again should we return. The only down side was the lack of Wi-Fi in the unit, but there are several cafes just a few doors down that offer free Wi-Fi access.
