Special price in August, November, January and February!
Excellent location in Via del Governo Vecchio a famed little street in the very heart of Rome, just steps away from Piazza Navona, and it’s very quiet and safe even in the small hours of the night, and within walking distance (15 minutes radius) of the most important historical sights in the city centre. You won’t need any bus transit or taxi: you will love to discover the real life of the city by simply strolling around the neighbourhood.
NEW PLATINUM APARTMENT is a two level suite. Downstairs there are two bathrooms and a little room in the entrance, upstairs there are two rooms, one bedroom an one living room with kitchenette and view on Governo Vecchio street.
The apartment is on ground and first floor.
You will hardly find a better location in town. Some of the major tourist attractions in Rome (including St Peter’s Cathedral and the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant’Angelo, Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Largo Argentina, Piazza Venezia, the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, among others) are within comfortable walking distance.
Via del Governo Vecchio, where you will find us, is a cheerful and quiet little street full of trendy boutique shops and nice little places to dine or have a drink at in the evening.

One recommendation: Leave the room clean and tidy as you found.
The apartment is in a good location. It's about 3 minutes walk to Piazza Navona, 6 minutes away from Campo De Fiori, 10 minutes away from the Pentheon and about 15 minutes walk to the Vatican. In fact, it's pretty much within walking distance to most tourist attractions in Rome. The apartment itself is spacious for 2 persons. However, the bathroom is compact especially the shower area. It's kitchen is well equipped with an oven, stove and refrigerator but it lacks a microwave. The apartment is in a small street which has a lot of restaurants and bars. It is also 2 minutes away from a supermarket which is located on the same street. On the whole we had a great time at the apartment because of its location and the atmosphere which the location created. However, I personally felt that the lack of wifi was a major drawback because it was frustrating especially when you needed to get some work done. If it had wifi I would definitely give it a 5 star rating because it allows you to soak up the local atmosphere and feel. Having said that it's still a great place to stay for its location. Ale was helpful enough to arrange a taxi to meet me at the airport. Although, I didn't meet him but I was meet by Domitilla, his representative who was extremely helpful. Ale also allowed us a late check out as we had a late flight to catch. On the whole it was a great experience but it would have been better if we had wifi.
This was the second stay in this gem of an apartment. The location is on a walk street lined with clothing stores and restaurants in the heart of the popular sights in central Rome. Walk out the door and within a few blocks you are at Piazza Navona, a few blocks more, the Parthenon. The apartment is on two levels, with the comfortable living area overlooking the scenic and energetic pedestrian zone. It is clean and decorated with flair. Domitilla greeted us at the apartment as soon as we arrived from the airport via a hired car arranged by the apartment owner. Domitilla is very charming and makes sure everything is to your liking before she departs. If there are any issues during the stay, she is readily available. Correspondence with the owner was swift and pleasant. All round, once again, a FANTASTIC stay.
We have the pleasure to stay in this house and expectations were not disappointed.
The welcome was perfect, a friend of the host illustrated the house and the rules. They were always available for any needs.
The house is in the center of the majorities of the tourist attractions. In 10 minutes you are in S.Pietro, in 3 minutes in Piazza Navona or Palazzo Madama, in 5 minutes you can see the Pantheon. Near the house you can find a lot of good restaurants: Pizzeria da Baffetto, Cantina e Cucina or you can drink a good coffee near the Pantheon (Caffè Tazza d’oro).
In the living room there is a window and from that you can see the street and tourists. The bedroom is in the opposite side so you can sleep without any type of noise.
The apartment is beautiful and well equipment for a perfect holiday. You will find want you read and see in the description and in the picture of Ale, we didn’t find any negative surprise.
The experience was perfect and was a pleasure to stay in this house, definitely we return here next time.
El apartamento estupendo, estuvimos 6 personas y nos encanto. Muy bien situado. todo nuevo y la cocina también perfecta. Estabamos al lado de todo. Si otra vez vuelvo me quedaría de nuevo en este apartamento. Graciasss
Wonderful time!!! Nothing but positive things to say about this experience! Would rent this apartment again in a minute!
We had an awesome visit to Rome, and being able to stay in Ale's Navona Platinum apartment was a big part of it. The location could not have been better: 2 minutes walk to the Piazza Navona, 5 minutes to Campo de Fiori, 30 seconds to one of the best gelaterias in the city. We walked from the apartment to Trastevere, Vatican City, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon. Could have walked to the Colosseum, but we took a short bus ride instead (only 2 minutes walk to the bus stop).
The lack of wifi was a minor inconvenience, but it seems almost every cafe and restaurant around offers free wifi, so not a big deal. I was connected within minutes of arriving at the apartment. The location and fact that there were 2 bathrooms for my family more than made up for it.
Thanks Ale, we had a wonderful time!
