LRG 1BDRM APT. OVER CREEK IN MV

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Miller Ave, Mill Valley, CA 94941, United States

The Space

o you need a comfortable furnished apartment above a babbling creek? This is available now! You can take your bike off the back of your car, which has a covered parking spot, and not touch your car keys again the entire time you are here! You can stroll or roll in to town in mere minutes. There are hiking and biking trails in every direction. Clamber up Mt. Tam or the Dipsea steps or coast in to Sausalito and play tourist, enjoy some fresh crab bayside. Maybe take the ferry in to SF for one of the best farmer's markets in the country and not have to think about parking or traffic. You could also just cozy up with a book in a comfy chair, put your feet up and just chill.... or perhaps catch a movie at the Sequoia, a grand old 2-screen theatre with a balcony. There are also two live theaters within walking distance, in addition to boutiques and galleries. Golden Gate transit is 1 block away.

This apt offers: 2 decks front and back with beautiful early morning light off the living room and late afternoon sun streaming into the bedroom. High speed wifi, cable, DVD player, stereo etc... cell phone reception is clear everywhere, no land line. Full bath and kitchen w/ dishwasher. Floor to ceiling windows in living room and bedroom (which has a queen size bed). Fireplace (more atmospheric than an actual source of heat). No one above you and you couldn't ask for better neighbors below and across. Absolutely NO SMOKING, NO PETS and being a vegetarian would be a plus. This apt. REALLY is in the town of Mill Valley, not Tam Valley or Strawberry. You can practically smell the coffee beans roasting downtown and you'll have to choose Peets, the Depot or the Roastery? Smack dab in the middle of either the Mill Valley Market or Whole Foods, (MVM better for most things), decisions, decisions.

The rate is $120 a night with a 2 night minimum in addition to a $60 cleaning/tax fee. The linens will be freshly laundered when you arrive and there is a washer/ dryer on the premises.

  • Nice, clean place. Balconies off front and back. Lots of open space. Easy walk into the heart of town. Great spot for whatever may bring you to mill valley

  • What a fabulous place to stay, thanks Frani! This is a great 1BR place with a cute deck that overlooks a wooded area and creek. We even saw deer out there eating their breakfast! There's lots of space and a basic kitchen for your cooking needs. Mill Valley is a cute town with a great pizza place (Toni Tuttos) around the corner and lots of walking trails. It's about a 20-30min drive into SF depending on where you're going. If we come back to SF we would definitely stay here again!

  • Frani. Was very responsive, nice and a pleasure to deal with. She was flexible with our plan changes. I really like the location of the apt. It was very clean and cozy too.

  • Frani was a wonderful accommodating host. Her place is super close to Mill Valley downtown (walkable) ,and San Francisco by short drive. You can open all the windows and let the cool breeze run through the apartment (especially helpful on a warm summer day in Marin). We are very grateful!

  • We had a lovely two night stay in Frani's apartment. Comfortable and perfect for our needs. She was a gracious host and communication with her was too easy. Thanks much!

  • Frani's apartment is a peaceful, serene sanctuary--nestled amongst the redwood trees, and very accessible to the 101 freeway. Her home is also a short walk from the Mill Valley village. Thank you for a short, but wonderful stay! Bonne journée, et nous espérons vous voir bientôt!

  • Wonderful place to stay! The stream in the back is so peaceful to listen to and Mill Valley is just adorable. This location is wonderful especially since it was our first visit to San Francisco. Easy to park and 15 minutes to San Francisco. Hope to go back soon!

  • This is a cozy apartment in a very serene surrounding. You have two balconies and a separate bedroom plus living room. The place has a French note, including a fire place! It is the perfect spot for hiking or trips up North or Berkeley. SF is not far away either. Frani was very flexible as we had arranged to come and stay with her on a very short notice. She even gave us good advice for our next travel location where we went to Bigsur and had a lovely time at a restaurant which she had recommended. Merci beaucoup, Frani

  • My husband and I LOVED staying at Frani's in Mill Valley! After driving from WI we were able to RELAX and enjoy a new part of CA that we had not seen. Frani's place is conveniently located to the Interstate, and a close walk to charming downtown Mill Valley. If you like to walk, hike, bike, shop and or eat you will not be disappointed in this choice. Frani's was very helpful in making us feel welcomed in her VERY comfortable home. I am so glad Frani mentioned the downtown area of Mill Valley! Did I mention that Mill Valley is beautiful?

About
devoted to yoga, any day that doesn't require driving is a good day, vegetarian. Love my town of Mill Valley. Enjoy reading, movies, theatre, music, museums and hiking. I like to travel and find most hotels so corporate boring, so I began renting people's apartments, and now I rent my own when I am traveling.
