Our Airbnb is walking distance to the Historic Peterborough Liftlocks, and the new Canoe Museum and adjacent to Trent Severn Waterway . Fabulous area for Nature Lovers and Photographers, close to terrific Trails, and within East City. Activities, nightlife, public transport nearby-The city centre is a 25 min walk / $15.00 approx one way cab. We have a Gazebo and Tiki Bar that are available to guests from late May-September

The space
Enjoy the gardens and waterfront view of the Trent Canal directly from the Bedroom, large backyard gazebo, tiki bar, or bistro garden (Seasonal)
The room is well-appointed including a comfortable Queen bed, and a 3 piece private en-suite washroom. Linen, towels, amenities and additional blankets provided. There are new Plantation blinds, which can be drawn closed. Modern furnishings include: wicker night stand and end table, wing chair and an antique desk and a mini fridge with small freezer compartment. Enjoy complimentary Bottled water and chocolates ! You’ll love the location in East City and all of the comforts of home. Quiet, relaxing, clean and managed by a seasoned Travel Professional. Coffee available in dining room at 0830am

Guest access
Shared Front door (3 step ) access. Room is located on main floor! Subject to seasonal availability -access to Bistro Secret Garden area, large backyard Gazebo and Tiki bar, which close at the end of September until late May. Guests will have access to the dining room.

During your stay
I have worked in the Travel Industry for (gulp) 30+ years and am readily available for any questions you may have regarding the Kawarthas, things to see and do in the area and places to dine. We live on site, so if guests have any additional requirements, I am there to assist and always -just a text away.

Location Alert: My House is *not* City center- and we like it that way! If you do venture downtown, please be mindful of the area. If you are looking for a place downtown-there are plenty of Airbnbs to choose from.

This is a quiet East City neighbourhood. Located close to the Rotary Trails. East City which has a village feel with downtown Peterborough just over the Hunter Street bridge. East City businesses include a Tim Horton's, a pub, grocery store, convenience store/gas station open 24 hrs, pharmacy, health food store, coffee shop and flower shop. The Peterborough Canoe Museum is within walking distance!
