Come escape to our tiny modern off grid cabin situated in the middle of our private 125 acre mountain top property which backs up to Pisgah National Forest. Wake up to soaring mountain views, hike all day on the Blue Ridge Parkway, grill out and make S'mores over the fire pit, and then roll open the glass garage door to fall asleep under the stars in a comfy bed...just 25 minutes to downtown Asheville! All well behaved dogs are welcome!

The space
Wake up to a breath taking mountain view amidst the trees! Hike the easy nearby trail along the creek into Pisgah National Forest or drive 4 miles up to the blue ridge parkway for some of the best hikes in the area! You can be in downtown Asheville in 25 minutes to enjoy all the amazing food, breweries, and art galleries.

The cabin has a comfortable queen size bed, a propane 2 burner cook stove, solar generator to turn on lights and charge cell phones, a water cooler for drinking and washing, and a propane heater if its cold. We provide an outdoor shower with a solar shower camping bag. Attached to the cabin is a very clean porta potty with mountain views that is emptied weekly. The outdoor fire pit is a short stroll from the cabin for making s'mores- bring your own firewood. There is a charcoal grill next to the cabin if you like to grill out. Check out our sweet 2 person swing with epic views! The glass garage door on the front of the cabin opens to beautiful mountain views (it has a roll down bug screen we put out only during the warmer months). The cabin is heated by a propane heater during the winter.

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE- We are recommending you bring your own bedding including pillows/queen size sheets/blankets or sleeping bags. We are spraying down all surfaces in the cabins with a bleach solution and taking the necessary precautions to disinfect everything. We will have bedding available if you cannot bring your own.

Bring a cooler with ice in it for your perishables (there is no fridge) and your own towels for bathing.

We provide basic cookware, a tea pot, coffee press and a couple 5 gallon jugs of water for you to drink and wash dishes in. There is a well on site for you to refill your water bottles.

We love dogs and know how hard it is to find a place that allows them to come on vacation with you! Potty trained, well behaved, dogs of any size are welcome! Dogs cannot be left in the cabin unattended.

I was born and raised in Asheville. I lived in California for 10 years to attend school and then I moved back home to Asheville to practice dentistry with my father. I love camping, biking, running, playing at the lake, and going on adventures. I can’t cook so I have eaten just about everywhere in Asheville so if you need advice on where to go, I’m pretty hip to what's good. I have been told that Airbnb is my hobby and I have to admit that they are right! I love dreaming up ideas for cabins and spaces. It’s been so fun for me to do and I love getting to see people enjoy the spaces so please share photos with me on Insta gram under Pisgah Highlands.
