We also have DIRECT ACCESS FROM FREEWAY! For the weary traveler who doesn't feel up to figuring out how to get through the neighborhoods!
**Our Victorian Penthouse Apartment is mainly fitted with authentic Mid-Century furniture. Not the cheap reproduction stuff you can find at Box stores. But Like anything of worth and age, come signs of use. We hope you can appreciate and treat the curation of decoration as much as we do!!

•Kitchen with gas burners, mini fridge, microwave, blender and coffee maker and all that you might need to prepare a *light meal.

Our historic home is walking distance to the art scene in the Crossroads, Power and Light, multiple Streetcar stops, as well as unique and local shopping and dining experiences easily accessible in 3 block radius! The Streetcar (FREE) runs from City Market to Union Station or grab a $7 Uber to Westport or the Country Club Plaza along with easy access to all the main highways if you have your own transportation. Book our highly sought after location and be in the thick of all that's exciting with the comfort and amenities of an upscale neighborhood historic Victorian home right smack in the city! You won't find a better price/value with a skyline view in our area!
We have two cat buddies and a deaf pup that live on premises. The cats are friendly and love to be pet :)

You will have access to the entire large TOP floor Penthouse Apartment (975 sq feet!) as well as the front entrance foyer and stairway. The first and second floor and back yard are off limits during your stay. Thanks!

We provide an early check in or check out for an extra $30 per hour. Your apartment suite is completely PRIVATE and on the third floor just two short flights from the inside stairwell.
We supply clean sheets, towels, an equipped kitchen, and all basic amenities as well as high speed internet, a retro VCR with The Stanley Kubrick collection on VHS, as well as a record player with some choice 45's. If you have questions about specific items of operation, please feel free to ask! Sorry, no smart TV
If you're traveling with a second , there is a single bed in the living room which We provide all the bedding, sheets & pillows for this set up as well! Just ask prior to arrival to so that we can make sure all is kempt.
Our home is located a football field length from the freeway. To us, it sounds like the ocean, but you may want to be aware of some traffic sounds from the balcony area.
We have two cat buddies that you might see in the stairwell. They love to be pet. And one deaf pup that you will likely never see but you might hear her saying hello from the other room in the first floor during the day only.
If you're still reading, well done!—and one more thing: We clean the apartment thoroughly after every stay, we are a health conscientious couple—think vacuuming, spraying, scrubbing, mopping etc. However, our Historic Home is over 100 years old, and despite our love, some places show it. There are knicks and cracks in various places of a home built in 1890 but, this is all part of the charm right? This isn’t your run of the mill suburban build ;)
When you're writing your review, we would love to get a 5 star rating, so make sure the house's age, nicks and paint marks don't give you a false impression of dirt. Thanks so much! A high rating helps keep us above the algorithm of the conglomerate like airbnbs who are just renting up multiple units to make a buck.
