Jim made us very welcome. We had a lovely room with a huge bed. We both slept really well and Jim made us a great breakfast of frittata, biscuits, grits. There was fruit on the table and as much juice, tea and coffee as we wanted. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet. We were able to walk to a restaurant for supper which was nice as we had had a long drive. We would definitely stay with Jim again. He was a great host and made every effort to make sure we had what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lattice Inn! The Lattice Inn is in a great location - close to downtown, and within walking distance to Old Cloverdale. We felt quite safe on our night time walk to El Rey Burrito Lounge for dinner and drinks at Leroy. We passed by the Fitzgerald Museum on our walk - they were holding their annual Gala that evening. The sound of jazz music was as sweet as the smell of the flowering magnolias as we made our way past the beautiful United Methodist Church and Cloverdale Park towards the restaurants on Fairview Ave.
Furthermore, Lattice Inn is a fine representative of the historic Garden District. We really enjoyed walking through the Garden District, exploring the splendid architectural variety and character to be found along it's pleasant streets. It was such a refreshing walk- a wonderful outdoor historic tour - * make sure to pick up the Garden District brochure that Jim provides on your night stand and check it out yourself! And Jim is such a wonderful host! Very professional and the accommodations are just fantastic! We stayed in the Magnolia Room and loved it! Such a beautiful establishment with a very fine library and breakfast in the morning. His two cats are also really sweet.
The Lattice Inn had lovely rooms with lots of character. Jim was the perfect host who provided sumptuous breakfasts and was keen to pass on his wide local knowledge. Good restaurants a short walk away.
The Lattice Inn and Jim are a perfect match. Very nice accommodation and excellent host, Great breakfast, Easy access to downtown Montgomery. Jim is very helpful with restaurant and attraction suggestions. Nice cats too.
Jim was a very gracious host and we really enjoyed our stay. The Sandpiper Suite was beautiful. It was a relaxing retreat. We highly recommend the Lattice Inn and are excited to go back again. Thanks, Jim!
