Welcome to my 2Br/1Ba home in the Santa Fe Art District, Denver's most eclectic neighborhood. Whether you are on business, a couple(s), or a family, the space, amenities, and location are perfect! An $8-12 Uber to almost anywhere including downtown, the Convention Center, Mile High Stadium, and entertainment. Uber, scooter, or walk to restaurants, breweries, art galleries, and dispensaries. Headed to the mtns or out of town? Be on 6th Ave and I-25 with access to I-70 in 60 seconds.

The space
The whole place is yours to enjoy with a fully stocked kitchen, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, decorative fireplace, washer and dryer, 2 couches and 2 super soft beds (guest room is memory foam). There is central A/C and forced hot air heat controlled by a NEST thermostat. Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and many other amenities provided. There are chargers for all phone types in case you forget yours! The master bedroom has a Bluetooth/aux cable/radio enabled stereo with in-living room speakers. THERE IS NO TV in the house...you'll just have to talk to your family/friends, play board games, or go out and explore! Also, there is a ethanol un-vented fireplace, but I ask guests to not use this for safety and insurance reasons. I have a few fun games in the guest room closet (Jenga, cards, Codenames, Farkle, etc...some not for kids!). As the space is half a duplex, I ask guests be mindful of my friendly neighbor and noise after 11pm. If you are looking for somewhere to party late into the night, this isn't the right place. Police will respond to noise violations.
Although there is no TV in the home, the wifi is fast enough for streaming on your own devices and there are card and board games to keep you occupied. Make use of the kitchen and any of the offerings on the countertop including coffee machine (French press blow in cabinet), cooking oil, mints, cough drops, any of the spices above the coffee machine, and any of the condiments/sauces/butter, on the fridge door. Help yourself to tea, hot chocolate, and oatmeal in the cabinet above the dish tray. Rice cooker, blender, and other cooking utensils are all for you to use. Need more toiletries, shampoo, soap, hairdryer, toothpaste, sunscreen, makeup remover, first aid kit, etc?....help yourself to under the bathroom sink! Head out back to the grass backyard with grill overhead Italian lights, and a small front and back porch. This is not just a rental, I live part-time here so it has everything and more.

Santa Fe Art District is an eclectic mix of art galleries, their owners, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and families. The alleyway behind my home is one of the densest areas of street art/graffiti/murals in Denver. One block over from my street is Santa Fe Ave, lined with shops, art galleries, restaurants, and bars. It's an up and coming neighborhood (still transitioning) with mostly families and artists and some young professionals. Although the street and surrounding houses show some character, the neighbors (especially directly next to me on each side) are all friendly and cool. I've lived in a 2 blocks radius for 5 years and love the variety, diversity, families, and art. It's also central to all destinations and attractions - I don't think I've ever paid more than $12 for an Uber to get anywhere in the Denver area from music venues on Colfax to Union Station downtown to clubs, bars, and restaurants on South Broadway or in Capitol Hill. The Denver Convention Center and Auraria Campus are exactly 1 mile from my doorsteps. These areas are walkable if it isn't too cold. Fridays on Santa Fe are busy, but on the first Friday of every month you'll really see the Santa Fe Art District come to life with an art walk, food trucks, free art exhibitions, and music.
Great local Mexican food, sushi, Asian fusion, pizza, bars, art cafes, 7-11 and grocery store within a 5-minute walk.

I highly recommend taking a tour of Downtown Denver with a company I did a stint as a tour guide with...eTUK Ride. Check out their impressive trip advisor reviews (and look for my name!). The coolest way to get a 2.5 hour tour and overview of Denver...in a tuk-tuk! Heated seats in winter! Tours meet at Union Station, but local pickup can be added. I suggest the City Tour or City/Brewery combo! Use code: ETUK10 for a 10% discount :)

"The Art District on Santa Fe is a designated Colorado Creative District, with the largest concentration of art galleries in Colorado — more than 30 of them. The neighborhood is splashed in brilliant color and covered in artwork from head to toe, inside its galleries and outside on it doors, alleys, hallways, sidewalks, walls, mailboxes, windows…you get the picture.

I'm a wandering New Yawk jew who grew up on Long Island, went to college in Burlington, VT, lived in Cambodia for a year, then Lake Tahoe for 3, Japan for a winter and finally Denver from 2013-2017 working for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado. Currently, I'm back and forth between Denver and Breckenridge where I am the Children's Ski School Special Programs Manager. I've spent a summer as a downtown Denver tour guide and a summer (winter) in Australia ski instructing (yep, there's skiing there!), but I love to be around Denver as much as possible in summers. I love to ski, bike (bmx, road, mtn bike), float down rivers, go to concerts, eat asian food, and travel. I also love helping others have fantastic vacations and experiences. When I travel I prefer to spend a lot of time in one country/region or if possible, live there for a bit and work. I've lived and worked in Cambodia, Japan, and Australia. Otherwise, I still enjoy weekend trips to new cities or small towns within Colorado. I love to visit or connect with friends or friends of friends in places I've never been before. As a host I enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their travels and where they're from. I am happy to chat and show you around if I'm available, or completely let you do your own thing.

Sometimes, but not always, I am around to meet you in-person if you need anything, but always happy to assist via phone, email, or text throughout your stay.
