Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Relax in your own forest retreat in the beautiful redwoods of Nisene Marks State Park, yet amazingly only 2. 3 miles from Rio Del Mar beach. Permit #251403. You’ll love the cozy fireplace, the views, and it's proximity to Aptos Village. The location is ideal if you want to begin your day with a bike ride or a hike through the forest. Or you may want to take the short drive or cycle to the beach, soak up some sun, catch some surf and listen to the waves splash against the sand until the sunset.

The space
The Fox's Den is not suitable for children under 12 years old based on AirBnB safety guidelines. The Fox's Den has an open plan living area with a vaulted ceiling, loads of windows and skylights that allows for great natural lighting. The 360 degree views of the redwoods allow you to feel at one with nature. In the evening you may hear the sounds of the forest denizens, like crickets and owls, as you relax in front of the fire and look out to the stars. Modern creature comforts abound indoors, with WiFi internet, large TV with Hulu, Netflix and a washer and dryer. The furnishings have been tastefully chosen to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The spacious 100% organic fiber couch is as environmentally friendly as it is comfortable and beautiful. The queen size bed is a sumptuous pillow top and medium support mattress, with luxury cotton sheets. There is a full kitchen and breakfast bar as well as a more formal dining table, perfect for romantic evening meals. For even more dining options there is a private deck, great for taking your morning coffee, or an ideal spot to unwind in the evening before dinner. Unfortunately, no service animals or pets are permitted due to my health condition, and I have a medical exemption with Airbnb.

Guest access
There is an electronic lock keypad and no keys are needed. I will send you the check in instructions including the keypad combination prior to your arrival. The Fox's Den is located upstairs. You have access to the entire house and back deck. Due to the county permit, only two guests are permitted to stay at the Fox's Den. No unauthorized guests are permitted to sleep over.

Other things to note
Please park on the left side of the house at the Guest Parking sign. You may park parallel to the road or straight in. If you pass the house there is a turn around spot 100 yards past the Fox's Den on the right side of the Monte Toyon Camp sign. If I am able to offer a late check out, the cost is $25 per hour.
