This place was perfect for us. We're a family of four with a 12 and 9 year old. The bus stop is right across the street, which takes you to the Anagnina train station, which is the main line to all of the sites in Rome. Down the street is an awesome coffee shop and across from that is a grocery store and amazing restaurant, which is much cheaper than eating in the tourist section of Rome. I have to say Salvatore was great, he made our family feel at home, and made my daughter's birthday a memorable one. I definitely recommend Salvatore's home.
The apartment itself is just fine. It's a basement apartment so it's not sunny (a but dark and damp) and the furniture/bed isn't great but it has a kitchen, laundry, WiFi, parking, etc. The area around it has everything you need.
- The Price. Admittedly, you cannot beat the price of this place. Staying in Rome can be quite expensive and this made our 4 days in Rome possible.
- The Hosts. Salvatore and his wife are very kind and got us well situated - Salvatore even walked us around the neighborhood to show us where everything was (grocery store, bus stop, coffee shop, etc.). We then didn't see him again until the end of the trip which was fine - he was accessible, but not intrusive.
- The Location. The apartment is much farther from the city of Rome than we thought it would be. It took us between 1 hour 10 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes to get to and from Rome every day - the metro is 20 stops away from the middle of town. The ad and Salvatore both said it would be 24 minutes from town but this is just not true. The first day we were there, we were very late getting to the Vatican Museums (upsetting if you know how busy it gets with each passing minute!) because it took so much longer than we thought it would.
It was a pleasure to stay at Salvotore's place. He took us to the supermarket to buy food, showed us how and where to get our tickets for the metro, and offered to take us to the termini so we could catch a train to our cruise, without his help I would probably have had many problems figuring out the metro system! I will always remember Salvatore's hospitality and staying at his place is one of the best airbnb experiences I've had to date.
The host is so nice and kind to us!!The house is very warm and good furnitured. He solve our problem with patient and he lends us umbrella, print the aboardpass for us,so nice!! Highly recommend!
Great, clean and well equipped apartment that is very accessible to public transport - a 5-10 minute bus ride to the train. Salvatore was a wonderful host with great communication before we arrived and could not do enough to assist us. He even reversed our van out of the driveway - having this parking space on Salvatore's property was just so convenient as was the supermarket just down the street.
The apartment is spacious, modern and fully equipped. The Wi-Fi Internet connection is convenient and the facilities are super clean. In addition, the owners (who live in the same building), are very friendly and helpful. Their attention to our welfare made our stay in Rome an experience we will remember for a long time. We highly recommend this apartment!

Salvatore house is perfect for whoever see Rome. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable, and there it has everything you need (simply everything). Mr. Salvatore is a very pleasant person, and he patiently explained me all the details about how move around town and how transport works. Moreover, at the house there is a complete manual (in three languages) with all kind of the tips, such as bus numbers you need, subway stations, as well as nearby restaurants and supermarkets. I recommend to everyone, and I hope return to Rome one day.
Thank you Mr. Salvatore.
