The balcony faces the traditional Armenian quarter and what you can see is the eclectic architectural landscape that defines the old parts of Bucharest: a mixture of XIX century mansions, monumental churches, interwar apartment buildings and XXI century steel and glass structures. Exiting the building on Sperantei Street you can find right across the renowned restaurant La Dud, and in the adjoining piazzetta you can choose to eat a pizza at Gambino's. Or you can buy a cracker and a coke from the little street boutiques.
Going straight on the street and turning right at the end will take you in 5 minutes to the University Square.
Two minutes away (in Rosetti Square) you have a bus, trolley and taxi hub. Five minutes away you have all of the above, plus subway access.
From the airport you can reach us by express bus 783 (University Stop). From the Gara de Nord railway station you can take directly the 85 trolleybus and get off at Rosetti Square.
Tudor was a very kind host, very friendly, relaxed and helpfull. His apartment was just perfect, great location near center and shopping areas. Next time I will definitely stay here again! Thanks Tudor!
Tudor was a great Host & the Appartement was an lovely charming Thing and great located. We would love to come back.
My friend Matthew and I had a great time in Romania! The place was extremely clean. Actually came with a towel, soap, dishes... everything we could ever need!
We thought the room was a little bigger but that's our own fault for not really looking at the pictures haha. Only one bed, probably ideal for a couple! Or people who don't mind sleeping next to each other.
Also, Tudor was extremely helpful at any time! Even checked us out of our room at 4am since we had a 6 o'clock flight.
GREAT GUY, GREAT PLACE!
The apartment was perfect! Everything we wanted! It was so warm after a cold day walking round it was comfy and pretty.
The location could not be better. Central and hidden away a bit - perfect for getting a great tour of Bucharest and a good nights sleep.
Tudor was so helpful. He suggested all the best placed and provided us so many lovely items in our apartment (including some amazing tea)
we miss it already! it was just for 3 days but definitely felt like home. very well located, near to the subway station, extremely fresh, clean, warm and cozy (despite of the harsh weather at this time of the year).
tudor was amazing on every part of the process, advised us on what to do's and was extremely patient on our arrival delay (sorry, haha!).
perfect for a couple, if you are wondering, just stay! :)
I had à pleasant stay in Bucharest. I liked the fact that tourism is not so wide. The restaurants are okey and there are some impressive buildings to see.
We loved our stay at Tudor's apartment right in the center of Bucharest. His wife met us and greeted us so warmly, even offering to show us around the neighborhood a bit and recommend some local restaurants. The location of this apartment is absolutely perfect. A couple blocks from University Square, we were able to walk everywhere and see every site we had hoped to very easily. It is also set slightly off of the main street, so it is very quiet. After our stay, it was a simple bus or metro to the Gara de Nord station. The apartment itself is not the biggest, but it was very comfortable and extremely well thought out. The kitchen had every appliance we could need and we cooked all of our meals at home. We felt bad we couldn't stay longer, and we would definitely stay at this apartment again. Highly recommended. Thank you, Tudor!
Tudors place is like in the best pat of town. This place is a steal, and Tudor is super cool !
The apartment is small and cozy, clean and just painted so it looks fresh. Everything you need is available and it is right in the centre of town. So if you don't need space to live, but just to sleep and hop in and out every now and then, this apartment is perfect. And Tudor is relaxed and very friendly.
