CASA SAN PAOLINO
Wi-Fi & Air-Conditioning
This beautiful and bright studio flat is located in central Florence in Via Palazzuolo on the second floor of a fourteenth century listed building between Piazza Santa Maria Novella and the picturesque Lungarno embankment leading upstream to the Ponte Vecchio. Casa San Paolino is a typical Florentine home, the apartment is spacious and has been elegantly refurbished for maximum comfort.
The holiday home Casa San Paolino includes: one double bed, bathroom with shower, flat screen TV, central heating and air-conditioning, a beautifully designed kitchen with two-plate electric hob, dining area, sink, electric kettle and toaster, iron and ironing board, Moka coffee maker, fridge, dishes, Wi-Fi, cutlery and traditional terracotta-flooring. The flat is 25 square meters and accommodates 2 persons.
The apartment is very clean, neat and lovely. It is located at the centre of Florence and within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions, as well as the train station. Wifi is available and The neighbourhood is safe. Stefano was very friendly and helpful. He also provided us with a useful map and a list of good restaurants and Gelateria. We would highly recommend it.
Paolo's friend Stefano came to the train station to welcome us as communicated previously. Stefano is very very friendly and speaks really good English. He walked us to the apartment, helped to carry our very heavy luggage and gave us a lot of information regarding the beautiful Florence, including a map that Paolo and Stefano made on their own marking some walking tours that they recommended. We visited the spots and the neighborhood restaurant (Il Contadino) he suggested and everything was perfect.
The apartment is at a pretty convenient location, close to the train station and about 15-20 mins walk from the Uffizi museum, Florence Cathedral, Pont Vecchio and other major spots. The decoration is really cute and the kitchen fully equipped with everything needed for making some meals even though we did not bother to cook at all. The neighborhood is very dynamic and lively. However, the double layer glass windows seal the noise really well. As long as the windows are closed, we were not bothered by the noise at all. The apartment is very clean.
If there is anything to our inconvenience, it is that the wifi didn't seem to work. We can see strong signal on our devices but had a lot of trouble accessing any website. For once, there was even a pop-out window totally in Italian (which I, of course, don't understand at all) and the only thing I could figured in the dialog is "100 euro (sign)".
Paolo showed up the last morning of our stay and told us that the wifi problem is with the service provider. We could understand it but still wanna point this out to others.
Paolo's brother met us at the train station and walked us back to the flat. He is simply a great host. He puts you in a good mood with his positivity and provides you with all the information you need about Florence and in general about what you can do there. I've used Airbnb houses a few times now, and this was by far the best experience regarding the host and the flat (exactly like the photos). Don't think twice for renting this house, you won't regret it.
I stayed in this amazing apartment with my girlfriend for 5 nights. I firstly want to say that it was absolutely perfect for us in every way possible. We've stayed in a lot of Airbnb's together and this was by far the standout of any. We arrived late after missing our train to Florence and it didn't even bother him at all and the moment we met Stefano (Paulo's brother) at the station, he made us feel so welcome in Florence and he's generally just the nicest guy ever! He takes his time to give you the best information for the whole city and is the kind of person to go completely out of his way to help you and won't rest until he knows you're comfortable. We asked him about sunflower fields and he didn't know much about the whereabouts of them and instead bought us a bouquet of sunflowers to have in our room! He offered us to do our washing rather than going down the road to the laundromat. There was a tiny wifi issue and he solved it straight away. As for the apartment, it's a beautiful, spacious and modern place with literally the comfiest bed we've both ever laid in, a good bathroom and everything you need to cook in the kitchen! We are both very particular about being clean and it's absolutely spotless! When you close the windows you can't hear a single peep from outside and it was really just a home away from home. Please do yourself a favour and stay here or with any of Paulo and Stefano's listings because they're great people and will do anything to make you feel welcome and offer incredible accommodation.
The apt was exactly as it appeared on the website. It was very well presented, very clean and in a perfect location. A few minutes from the main train station and surrounded by cafes and restuarants.
As for the host, Stefano was such a great guy. He helped so much with our stay in Florence. He greeted us at the train station and helped us with our luggage to the apt. He showed us all the nice restuarants and explained everything we needed in getting around Florence.
I cannot fault the apt or the host, and would gladly stay here again the next time I am in Florence.
What an amazing stay. Paolo's brother welcomed us, and what a fantastic person he is. We had everything we could have needed. Not noisy at all, beautiful and clean and a great location. We where given cards and details of great places to eat and see. All Stefano's suggestions where spot on. Comes highly, highly recommended. Thank you so much.
We really enjoyed our stay here, it was only two blocks from the station. Paolo and his brother are very responsive and super helpful during our stay. I enjoyed it very much, very clean, and great location!

My name is Paolo and I'm a full time Airbnber! I like to take care of my guests, by providing them with maps, suggestions and whatever else needed. I'm also very happy to come and pick you up at the station.
I speak Italian and English, so foreign tourists are more than welcome.
