About This Listing
In the heart of Rome, just next to palatine, circus maximum and caracalla's therms, but even very close to Testaccio's nightlife.
I rent rooms with private bathroom and independent entrance.
The place is quiet, central, very well connected by buses and tube (line B).
The room is situated at the first floor, I live downstairs, at the ground floor; the entrance is private, from the terrace. The terrace is connected to the exit by a spiral staircase, the one you can see in the pictures! I can say proudly that it's a quite "unique" place, but also, it is not always maximum comfort, so I can suggest it for sporty persons!
The room is nice, little and clean with TV, air conditioning, heating, and a confortable bed!
The bathroom is located just outside the room, you have to make a step into the common space to get inside it!
The common area is provided with a fridge and a boiler. There are also some tables and stools were you can have a brake drinking a nice tea when you wish it, and why not, meeting the other guests! But sorry, no kitchen..
You can consult some Rome guides and a tips book that has been written by the persons who has been here before you!
We will accord on the time of check in because I work and I'm not at home all day!
My husband stayed here for 3 nights after a conference in Rome. Caterina arranged for her cleaning lady to be there to let him in and was most helpful. The room was exactly as described - very clean ,rather small - there was ,for example,no room to sit at a desk and no chair. However, it wasn't a problem as there was space to sit and work in the communal area outside the room.
Caterina provided tea and coffee and biscuits which were most welcome.
it was good to have a private bathroom and this was clean and very close to the room.
Access to the room was ,as described , up a spiral staircase . This is not easy with a large suitcase.
The area feels very safe and there is a selection of cafés and shops . The Piramide station is close by but there are some steps to negotiate.
Caterina fue muy amable ya que me esperó hasta tarde por mi llegada. Muy atenta.
La pieza perfecta, el baño impecable. Totalmente recomendable!
Lovely location, nice neighbourhood, the place is basic but nice and clean, but you don't come to Rome to stay in the apartment! Restaurants nice near by, lovely local pizza place about 3 minute walk up the road , turn left and then left. Caterina was lovely and made me feel welcoming and was very accommodating and let me leave my bags there earlier than the book in time. A big thank you!
I had a great time staying at Caterina's! Transit from her place was very easy. There are a lot of stairs, however, after getting off the train/bus. They're manageable, but if you have any mobility issues, I would think twice. The tip book including tips from previous visitors was very helpful in planning my stay. Internet was pretty reliable. She had a hairdryer! Very good stay. Everything was very easy. Thank you Caterina!
First time in Rom, and I loved it. Catarina let me stay in the apartment and took care that I find the place from the station. We wrote some mails before i went to Rom. We saw us once were she said how to deal with the keys on the day I'll leave.
Other than that, it was as I expected. Nice cosy bed, own bathroom, wich is always a good thing, a TV in case you wanna polish up your Italien :)
Really, had an awesome time there.
There is a subway near by, or go by foot like I did. You can decide..
Two thumbs up for that place. Doesn't cost a fortune and its quite.

About the Host, Caterina
"Curious" is probably the first adjective for my personality!
I like travelling and meeting different people!
I've traveled in many places untill now, I lived in San Diego for 3 months and this has been a wonderful experience! I don't have a favourite destination, every place where I have been had its special charm!
Hosting foreign persons is a very interesting occasion for "traveling" even when I work!
