The kids loved the house as well as the smores kit this was left for us. There are lots of extra things (such as popcorn maker AND popcorn, candy, crockpot, games, color books and crayons, etc.) as well as tons of towels, pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. It is 30 min…

Patty is great at thinking from things from the guest perspective and making sure that your needs are anticipated. Great location: close to Yellowstone with amenities close by in West Yellowstone. Place was as advertised: don’t let the rural setting fool you, it’s comfortable a…

Great place on the West side of Yellowstone! Perfect distance and perfect setting. This place has great amenities with many appliances and things needed to cook or grill. Patty was very reponsive and offered some great advice. We highly recommend!

Patty’s place was great for our family of 6. We had space to relax and spread out after a day of exploring the area. We were able to have dinner and breakfast at the cabin and pack lunches every day for our trip. We loved being able to do our laundry as well. Everything was c…

Well, the cabin itself is pretty cute. I had messaged before booking inquiring about air conditioning and was told a window unit was being put in and would be there for our stay. It wasn’t. We weren’t able to go outside of the cabin because there were literally thousands of mosqu…

Response from Patty:
I apologize for the miscommunication regarding the A/C and not having one. I was in Island Park during the time of your stay and the weather temperatures were anywhere from 60-70 degrees during the day, and cooerl at night. We had a late winter and wet spring. Literally it rained every evening the last 2 weeks of May. Moisture is a breeding ground for mosquitoes that I have no control over. It's part of being in the forest. This would have been the case at any cabin in the area. All of my screens are in good shape with no rips or tears so there was absolutely no reason the windows couldn't have been opened. You also had a large group with over 8 people that could have been coming and going out the doors and let mosquitoes in. With regards to the dryer I have since done some maintenance to it. I understand your frustration but I try to accommodate and make everyone's stay as comfortable as possible. I want you to have great memories. I also feel for 8 people, a fully stocked home, that you would be hard pressed to find a better deal for $150 this close to Yellowstone.

Thanks for looking at our cabin as a potential place to stay during your vacation. My husband Tom has been going to Island Park since he was a child. I was introduced to this magical place in 1997. Needless to say I was hooked. We have owned our first cabin for 4 years. Since we …
