  • David (email hidden). He provides you with so much more detail than any standard hotel. He prepares a map of the local suburb showing local eateries and other shops that may be useful during your stay. He also prepares a list of directions to all the main attractions from the studio. The checkin process is very detailed so that you can enjoy your stay with little questions left to asked. He even walked us around the neighbourhood to show us certain points of interest. The studio itself is clean and comfy. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is big. On an overcast day it can be hard to get light into the main living room but you can just sit closer to the window if you are needing to read something. Also, you need to wait a little to get the hot water to flow through the bathroom basins, however, if you feel like its taking too long just turn the shower on to toggle the hot water system more quickly. The studio is close to the foodie area of Trastevere (7 tram stops away) and the main attractions are either a five or ten minute walk from the tram end of the line. It'(email hidden). You feel like you are at home, and David is very accommodating. A very nice stay in Rome.

    Response from David:

Thank Tania for you nice review. The satisfaction of my guests is very important to me. Regarding the hot water , as explained during check in, the basins are the farest point reach from the gas water heater so it may need more time for the hot water to reach them. I hope it was also good to have the chance to leave bags til 18:00 so you could have enjoy more time in Rome ;-)
    Hope to have you back!

  • David has (email hidden) and the apartment is really nice. It's a clean apartment that has everything you need and the jacuzzi is perfect! The neighbourhood is calm and quite but still close to Trastevere station and only a few minutes walk to the no 8 tram. The apartment also has fast wifi, which is a huge plus. David is very helpful and showed me around the neighbourhood where there is a supermarket, fruit and vegetable market etc and will help you with anything you need. All in all, I'm very pleased with my stay and would highly recommend this place.

  • We had a wonderful time in Rome, and David (email hidden) (email hidden). A really nice appartment, and the trastevere station - with connections troughout the city - is not far away. We can highly recommend this place!

  • We had a good time in David's place.

The communication with David was great, he answered very quickly and was helpful and friendly.

The apartment itself is comfortable, clean and modern with a nice porch and a great bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and there's a washing machine as well which was very convenient. We also liked the red brick building and the residential feeling of the neighborhood.

Regarding location, the No. 8 tram stop is very close and the tram passes often (never waited more than 5 mins.) and brings you to Trastevere and the center of Rome easily and comfortably.

All in all, good value and recommended!

  • Our stay at David's place in Rome was a very good experience! David (email hidden) and makes sure that his guests have an enjoyable stay. He provided us with detailed instructions on how to reach his place and gave us a nice guided tour of the studio and the neighborhood. We got late in reaching his studio, but David was very sweet to accommodate that. He also helped us book a taxi in the middle of the night. The location of the studio is really nice - good eating places, a supermarket, ATM, fruit shop, are all pretty close by. Thanks to David, we were able to live as the Romans do!

  • We stayed at David's apartment 9/11-9/17. It was great - just as it was represented on airbnb website. Clean and had everything we needed to prepare food and do a little laundry. However we agree that the BEST thing about the booking was DAVID. He was so helpful and accomodating. Apart from giving us extensive info about how to get about the neighborhood and to city center, when we had time limited questions about getting around - he answered us immediately and accurately. We would totally recommend this apartment to visitors to the Rome area.

  • It's the place in Roma! You will live like the Romans, out of tourist traps. The apartment is small but clean and the bathroom look like the Romans Terms!
Davis is the perfect host, welcoming, helpful and punctual. He prepared a list of places to visit and the best way to get there. Very helpful!

  • This is a very nice flat! David was so nice to show us the basic stuff in the neighbourhood, and his "how-to-find-guide" of Rome. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely come back next time..
    ps. absolutely loved the jacuzzi!

  • David (email hidden), and his apartment was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were given very a very detailed walk-through of the place, so we knew how to locate and use everything inside. David even provided detailed directions on how to get to all of the main tourist sites from the apartment.

Once you take a moment to figure out the maps of the tram and subway, it was so easy to get around. The location was so close to the tram, and we used that to get around the city - made getting from place to place a breeze. The bathroom was HUGE, and that tub was really nice to soak in after walking around on sore feet all day.

We'd definitely recommend staying here to anyone who's looking to visit Rome. (:-D)

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and cosy apartment with excellent transport links to all the incredible things to see and do in Rome. We loved eating outside on the little terrace and the jaccuzi was a real treat after a long day of sightseeing. David was a warm and welcoming host and provided detailed information on how to get to the apartment, a list of how to get to all the main tourist sights, and good info about everything you might need to do in the immediate area. It was really great to stay out of the main tourist areas and we really enjoyed shopping at the local supermarkets (the one by the tram stop is really good) and cooking for ourselves. We found the Number 8 tram was so quick and frequent and once you get to Argentina where it terminates you can walk to almost anywhere from there. We would definitely come back to Rome, and to David's apartment, a wonderful time was had by all!
