  • The place couldn't have been any better. We loved it! It was absolutely perfect. We were visiting bc we had some business affairs to attend in Manhattan and we are glad we stayed in Brooklyn. The subway is super close, within walking distance from the apartment and it took us everywhere we had to go, and we went everywhere! We are definitely planning on staying there again on our next visit. The hosts were great and very helpful. I knew nothing about navigating through NYC and they were very helpful and we got around just fine. This is definitely a cool place to stay!

  • This is the second time we have stayed at Chris & Marissa's place. As before, it is comfortable, convenient and provided a good nights rest. The bed & shower are both as good or better than many hotels we've stayed in. The hosts are helpful, friendly and generous. Marissa is a pleasure to know. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future!

  • We had a lovely stay at Chris and Marissa's place in Brooklyn, which is quite conveniently located. Their apartment is terrific and the pictures are reflective of it's charm, size, light, furnishings etc. Marissa was both incredibly responsive in correspondence as well as flexible with check-in / check-out logistics. We'd definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for hosting our brief stay!

  • This was a really cute place! I think the best part about it was that Chris and Marissa were very responsive and personable! It was clean, cozy and close to everything (train, food, park). And again, Chris and Marissa were SO nice! The next time I need to get a place in Brooklyn, i'm coming back here!

  • The place was perfect for my wife and I. It's a large well-lighted room flanked buy sizable well-equipped bathroom, kitchen, and closet. It was clean as a whistle and uncluttered. It's a short walk to the Franklin Ave subway on Eastern Parkway and to a number of good restaurants and groceries. I hope it's free next time we visit New York.

  • My husband and I enjoyed 10 full days at this cozy and elegant studio. It was the perfect place to come to after wandering around NYC. The bed is very, very comfortable and the view from the windows very nice, the subway station is not far at all; and there's plenty of shops and cafes around including a great laundry place in the corner. The host is the best and most considerate one. Thank you Marissa for making our Christmas vacations in NYC so memorable.

Transplanted to NYC many years ago, live a fairly laid back lifestyle. I love the city, though I have traveled all over the world (Africa, Europe, Caribbean,South America, Canada, Hong Kong, etc.) and met a ton of great and interesting people. I speak un pocito Espanol, a very tiny amount of French, a very few words of Russian and five or six German words. I have hosted guests from many different countries. I love hosting and making visitors and guests feel comfortable and at-home. Whatever you need, just ask and I'll make my very best effort to say yes to you
