The poppy bedroom is the red room of Casa Magnolia.
Casa Magnolia is a very cosy, bright and spacious apartment, located on the second floor of a building from the sixties, which was recently renovated (maintaining its original design).
We call Casa Magnolia the house between the city and the university [a casa entre a cidade e a universidade]. You know why? Because it is ideal for those who want to stay close both to the city centre and the university, or halfway between the "two cities", in a calm and quiet area which is a 10-minute walk from the city centre and 10 minutes from the university campus.
The neighbourhood is quiet and the area equipped with supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants, post offices, schools and the BragaParque shopping mall.
If you are looking for a place where you can have total privacy in a quiet and friendly, or if you're looking for a ground that will serve as a starting point for several walks in the city or in the Minho region, this is the right place – filled with all you need to feel at home!
The apartment features 2 single rooms and 3 double bedrooms. Common zones include the living / dining room, kitchen (equipped with fridge, oven, stove, microwave, ideal for making small meals and fine dining among friends), one full bathroom and a toilet.
There is a bus stop just down the street although you can reach almost everything by walk.
The apartment has got a two-car garage.
If you plan to visit the city by bike have one bike to borrow.
NOTE that It is perfect for scholars that come to Universidade do Minho for short or long periods - just because every room has got everything you need (weekly cleaning included), the common areas are fully equipped and it is halfway between the city and the university!
If you are planning to stay for more than one month, feel free to contact Casa Magnolia.
