The location of Chandler’s apt is very nice and pretty. It’s conveniently located near restaurants, shops, train stations and the Brooklyn Bridge. The apt is very spacious and clean. One thing that I noticed was that there wasn’t enough hand soap in the bathroom. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I’d recommend it to friends and people considering this as an option of where to stay when visiting NYC.

Our experience at Chandler’s was great! The apartment is comfortable, bright, quiet and nicely appointed. A bit tight with only 1 bathroom for 5 people but overall good. You definitively feel welcome when you arrive at his flat, plenty of towels, Lavazza coffee beans to use in his espresso machine, plenty of pillows, comfy beds and voucher offering a discount to go up to the One World Observatory (thanks so much for that!) to mention a few details. The area is really nice, cobblestone streets, nice restaurants, cafe and cute shops only steps away. The block where the apartment is can look a bit dodgy but only because of all the construction going on in the block. No noise at the apartment though and we felt safe at all times. I can only imagine what this area will look like in a few years! I've never stayed in this part of Manhattan before but would definitively come back to Chandler’s!

We had a great stay at Chandler's apartment. The location was great and allowed for easy access to the lively area of South Street Seaport. So many great restaurants in the neighborhood. The apartment was very large and nicely laid out to comfortably fit our group of 5 without having to use the air mattress. The check-in instructions were thorough and very precise. One issue we did have was that our check-in was delayed by 1 1/2 hours due to the cleaning crew still working. I understand that unexpected issues arise but there was no communication about the delay and we had arrived on time with our belongings. If we were told about the delay we could have planned accordingly. Once we had gotten in touch with Chandler about the issue, we were able to workout an arrangement for the remainder of our stay that worked for us both. Other than the small check-in hiccup, our stay was great! I would recommend this apartment to others!

This place was great for us. I don't have tons of experience living in apartments in New York, but it was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The linens, towels, pillows, etc., were all VERY clean, the beds were VERY comfortable, and the AC worked great. Chandler was an excellent communicator, and very responsive. Getting in and out is super easy, because of their keypad lock system, so it was nice not to worry about having/losing keys, etc. The stairs are pretty steep, something to keep in mind if you have tons of big bags you are traveling with, or if you don't like stairs. It's about a $20 Uber drive to anywhere in Midtown (like the Empire State Building, etc.) so just keep that in mind as well. We Ubered everywhere because we had two children under 2 with us, and the Subway didn't sound like much fun, but I'm sure taking the Subway is much more affordable and just easier in general. The Seaport area is really cute, there are restaurants and bars just a 2 minute walk away. The view of the Brooklyn Bridge is FANTASTIC, and it's nice being near the water and in a more quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend staying here!!
