Sunny bedroom with private 1/2 bath in fully-renovated downtown house. 5-minute walk to downtown mall, 10 to UVA hospital, 15 to campus. Just down the street from Main Street Market for all your gourmet needs and cravings...

Sit in the gourmet kitchen/dining room as you eat your granola, fruit, pumpkin bread, and drink your coffee or tea!
Wonderful, eclectic neighborhood with friendly neighbors, walking distance to everything!
If you don't feel like walking (shame on you!), public transport (both free trolley and city bus) are a 1-minute stroll up the street (on Main Street)
Hosts were very welcoming and responsive. Cleanliness in kitchen space was subpar. Bedroom was clean. Neighborhood was nice and we felt safe. For us the price was a bit high.
It was a privilege to stay with Dalia and her family. They made me feel at home, were accomodating and inviting. The private room was exactly what I needed and the location has perfect proximity to Downtown and UVA. I will definitely look to stay with them on my next visit to town.
Dalia's place was great, yet again. Convenient location, responsive host, excellent accommodations.
I was in C-ville for a conference at UVA and Dalia's home is convenient to downtown and campus. She was a perfect host -- easy going and friendly. I felt very welcome. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have the private half bath to myself. A very nice stay!
Exactly what I needed after being on the road for a bit.
Dahlia, was communicative, warm, and receptive.
I enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely stay here again when I'm traveling solo.
Dalia was a really great host. I didn't get much time to stay at her place and chat with her, but she made me feel very welcome.
Dalia and her family made me feel very comfortable in their home. I also really enjoyed the convenient location in the cultural heart of Charlottesville. I loved being able to walk to yoga studios, cafes and restaurants.

I am a fiction writer and free-lance editor. We chose to live where we do--a short stroll to the downtown mall and UVA--because we like to put our legs to work, and--oh, I almost forgot--I never learned know how to drive! Maybe it's not too late...
