The apartment is close to the airport but not very close from all the entertainment in Lima. Everything was clean and good for two people. The only bad thing is that there is no A/C or a fan in the apartment and it can get very hot and humid.

ronald and his family were very helpful. they pointed us in the right directions in regards to places to eat and go. we were only here for a night in between flights and so this place was ideal for that. however, i believe we caught them in between construction and the pictures didnt really match the actual apartment. but it was not a bother at all. located between the airport and downtown lima.

My family and I are opening our house to travelers. We like to interact with people from different cultural background and make our airbnb guests feel as they are part of our family.

We also would like to share what we know about Lima and where to go in Lima. This cultural exchange gives us the opportunity to tell you who we are. We like to keep contact with international people and hear things about their travelings.

We offer you a safe, quiet, and nice environment.

Some advantages of my home are:
My house is well located between the Lima International Airport and Downtown Lima. We are 15-20 minutes by taxi to downtown Lima. Some places, we suggest, to see in downtown are:
- Cathedral of Lima (Catacombs of Lima)
- The Franciscan Monastery
- The Government Palace
- Malecon del Rio (Pier of the river)

You can also take the panoramic bus and you can compare the old Lima and new Lima, that has over 8 million inhabitants. We can consider it as a busy city.

Peru is three times the size of California. So you have a lot to see other than Cusco and Puno.
If you like eating, you should check out Peru’s annual food festival in Lima, Mistura, (more than 300,000 attendees). The next one is in September 2015. You can spend all day in this huge fair. Seafood, Steaks, rotisserie chicken, pork and lamb (and many vegetarian options too!).

Drinks like Pisco Sour, Purple Corn juice (Chicha Morada) and Fermented Corn juice (also called Peruvian/Inca beer) or Chicha de Jora are a must.

Desserts made of dark chocolate, rice pudding with purple corn pudding, and ice creams like Zambito are just delicious.

If you have any questions, please email us. We are here to help you.
