Our charming and rustic guest apartment is built into half of our 8 stable horse barn on our 5 acre farm. If you are looking for a unique place to stay in Vero Beach, our guest suite is perfect. Built in 2015, it has one queen bedroom, a sleeping loft, a living area, kitchenette, a bathroom, and plenty of outdoor area to enjoy the farm, such as our fish pond, small chicken range, miniature silky fainting goats and horse Mr T.
We are in the country, but close the beaches and Dodgertown.

The space
This unique apartment allows you to have your own space and enjoy the country setting. There’s a shared quiet outdoor sitting area overlooking the pasture where you can relax & enjoy along with your very private apartment. There is a small kitchenette including a microwave, small refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker. It is not a full kitchen, more like a hotel set-up. For longer stays, we are happy to provide a toaster oven and a few other amenities to help make preparing food easier. We provide the coffee! The sleeping loft is not for everyone- only access is up the ladder as shown in the pictures and guests must assume risk of climbing up and down. Small children and adults who are not extremely agile should not plan on using the loft. Summer months can be quite warm for sleeping in the loft. There is a ac/heat unit in the wall for climate control, and an additional portable ac and small heater for the bedroom when needed. Our farm is on well water, which if you’ve never used before, can be slightly different than city water.

Our family home has a swimming pool in the front which is private and not included in our Airbnb listing.

Please note that guests must be 25 years of age or older to book. Proof of age with Govt ID may be requested.

Our guests have a private front porch area to sit privately or may enjoy a (Very rarely but possibly shared) deck with sitting area to enjoy. Our guests are also welcome to enjoy the backyard, the bonfire area, and fish pond. Our guests love to feed the tilapia in the pond, pet the horses and goats, exercise their dogs in the pasture, and star gaze in the evenings.

Our family home has a swimming pool in the front which is private and not included in our Airbnb rentals.

We ask that our guests treat the property as if it was their own and enjoy it as if it was their own.

Other things to note
We have a friendly Golden Retriever on the property who loves to welcome our guests. She is known to meet you at your parking space and lead you to the apartment (That is, unless she's taking a nap on the porch and doesn't realize she has friends here!).

One well behaved pet will be considered. No pets on the furniture please! An extra Pet cleaning fee may be charged if you don't clean up after your pet. Upon request we can accommodate an additional pet for $30 extra pet fee.

Guests of guests are required to register with us and must be gone by 9:30pm.

Sleeping loft for guests #3 & #4 can be warm on exceptionally hot summer days. We have two fans in the loft.

Neighborhood highlights

We are close to town, but feels like we're far out in the country. I-95 is about 7 minutes away, Dodgertown about 5-6 minutes away, the movies and the mall, 5 minutes and most importantly the beach... 15 minutes away. We are on a dead end country road with lovely neighbors all around.

We have lived in Vero Beach for about 10 years where we're raising our family on a wonderful, private 5 acre farm where we live with our friendly Golden Retriever, Harley, Mr. T our sweet pasture horse, and 5 chickens that lay the most wonderful eggs along with a pond full of tilapia. Our home sits on the front of the property and we converted half of the large barn to be a beautiful, rustic, guest apartment. We recently converted the other side of the barn into a wedding and party venue. We enjoy traveling, days at the beach, and evenings with friends around a campfire. We also have added a small Tiny House to our collection here since we are enjoying Airbnb so much.
