Interaction with Guests
We try to be present at check in and at check out. We usually are around in evenings for recommendations.
Very quiet walking neighborhood but still a short drive to downtown restaurants and nightclubs.
Secure garaged parking on site. Car is essential as the closest public transportation stop is 1/2 a mile away.
Other Things to Note
The Home Owners Association rules state that cars must be in the garage overnight. If you are uncomfortable pulling in and out of a garage you should probably look elsewhere. We can make exceptions for a short stay of a few nights. I can also get an exception approval from the HOA for a trailer for a short stay.
Please note the bathroom has a step in clawfoot bathtub with a shower. No walk in shower is available.
NOTE on PRICING: The prices listed for daily, weekly and monthly rentals are the average pricing. Summer rentals (off season) will show the discounted pricing when the final tally is made. At that time you can accept or cancel. Premium pricing will apply to Winter rentals (high season)..

I had a short overnight stay. Carl was a awesome host. Although it was night time when I had arrived, he still met me at the cottage and give a tour of the home and provided me with information. I was not able to check out the beautiful garden nor the jacuzzi because I had left early morning. I will highly recommend for others to stay.
Carl was a fantastic host who was very accommodating and helpful with recommendations, directions, etc. The studio cottage has everything someone could need. It even has a great little kitchen that is stocked with essentials that helped us enjoy our trip that extra bit. Getting the chance to lounge by the pool, have a drink and admire all of the beautiful cacti and plants in his yard, really made the trip extremely relaxing. I'm glad to have gotten to stay at his cottage. I know staying here was one of the main highlights of the trip.
Carl was a great host, with excellent communication and directions. The casita was just as described--very comfortable and great for my needs. The separate entrance and private garage were nice, and the supplies and furnishings sufficient. I will stay here again when in Tucson.
This space was everything I needed, and Carl made it so easy. A lovely, comfortable SW experience. Fun hearing the coyotes at night!
What a delightful place to stay. The cottage, the gardens, my hosts, all perfect. If I ever find myself in Tucson again, I will stay here!!!
We felt welcomed even before we got there. Our communication with Carl was excellent. He gave us clear instructions on how to get into the gated community and was standing out in front to greet us and give us initial instructions.
The setting was lovely, and Carl was a great host. the casita was just like the photos
