Cute 1 Bedroom Apt. with Yard

Apartment - Entire home/apt · 7th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215, United States

Nice 1 Bedroom apt. in Park Slope Brooklyn. Clean, safe, convenient, with backyard space! Everything you need is less than 2 blocks away. F and G trains, great cafes, restaurants, diners, the beautiful Prospect Park, even a hospital- what more do you need?

Please message for availability before booking.

The Space

This is a sweet, convenient, safe and clean apt. just minutes away from beautiful PROSPECT PARK (great for running, bird watching, free concerts, and walking) and 2 blocks away from the F and G trains (which can bring you to Manhattan, Williamsburg and Coney Island). Diners, restaurants, banks, bagel shop, coffee shops, Barnes and Noble book store, pharmacy, 24hr. grocery store, car service, even a HOSPITAL (heaven forbid!). As you can see from photos, the apt has a lot of wood (SORRY NO PETS ALLOWED and NO SMOKING: but you can in backyard) and some exposed brick, wood floors, no carpeting, inside a historic Brownstone in beautiful Park Slope Brooklyn. Very Safe, unlike other parts of Brooklyn. Want to get home at 2 in the morning? NO problem! It's very safe.
20 minutes to Lower East Side and a little more to midtown manhattan. 15 minute walk to BARCLAYS center (Brooklyn Nets), BAM (theatre and music) and Patrick Stewart lives here now!

Guest Access

Guests have access to apartment and yard (note: the deck above the yard is not included). Queen size bed. Small kitchen, fridge, microwave and oven. Wi-fi access. 51" HD television with CABLE and surround sound. Access to hundreds of my Blu-ray/DVD's (great for a rainy day). Bug free. Menus for food deliveries, etc etc.

Interaction with Guests

I'll definitely be there when you arrive and show you the space (and answer any questions you may have) and fill you in on the neighborhood.

The Neighborhood

See above, so much to see and do in Park Slope!

Getting around

Very easy to get around. F and G train are 2 blocks away to take you right into Manhattan or other parts of Brooklyn. The R train is also close.

  • Fantastic location, very clean and elegant. Billy was a great host, making sure I had access to keys on my arrival. He also touched base with me to see if every was well and if I required anything. Really enjoyed staying here, would come again.

  • Excellent, very clean, well appointed, and silent apartment for a short or longer stay in NY. I Love Park Slope, especially 5th Avenue with its many restaurants and shops which is close-by, as is the metro with great connectivity throughout the city. Since it was very cold this winter I didn't use the garden - but that can be an asset in warmer months. And you can sleep safely with an open window!
Giant TV, good and clean bathroom, great bed, efficient kitchen. It's an original brownstone - so a little dark - but for me that added to the Original Brooklyn Experience. Quite spacious for NY standards, easily accommodating for 2. Never met Billy in person - he was like 'Charlie' to me - but all my questions were answered swiftly by email. Highly Recommended.

  • Great little bachelor pad in beautiful, leafy Park Slope. Perfectly located just off 7th Ave with its great restaurants, cafés and bars (we became regulars at Smiling Pizza, Cafe Grumpy, and La Bagel Delight!) 7th Ave subway station is right around the corner, and other options are nearby. Prospect Park is two blocks away, the Pavilion Cinema is down the road, shopping on 5th, etc, etc, you get the idea. Billy was a great host, perfectly helpful and a font of local tips and information. The apartment is comfortable and had everything we needed. Comfortable double-bed (queen?), full-featured little kitchen, bath/shower, great couch and home entertainment system (perfect for unwinding after a long day in town!) Highly recommended all-round.

  • Billy was a great host. He anticipates questions and answers very quick to others.
His apartment is well located and very close to the subway. Although the apartment was a little bit dusty, main things were clean.

  • My parents came to visit for the weekend and stayed in Billy's place. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay there. They were especially impressed by all the caring details (amenities, cleanliness etc). Billy was terrific to communicate with, always responsive and easygoing. Highly recommend!

  • My parents stayed in Billy's wonderful apartment last weekend. He even let them add a day to our reservation after we booked. He was extremely kind and helpful. His place is very clean, comfortable and quiet with a beautiful backyard that we did not use but loved gazing at. :)
The location is park slope perfection- very convenient.
Billy's place has become my new guest house!!!

About
Originally from Greece, but call myself a New Yorker as I have lived here since I was a kid. I'm a proud Brooklynite and live in the great area of Park Slope. I can give you many recommendations for things to do, cafes, bars and sights! I enjoy soccer, music, ice coffee and travelling. I think Air BnB is a great way to travel and have only had great experiences here!
