  • We loved our stay with Jane - everything was comfortable, thoughtful - also extremely helpful without a hint of intrusion. We would have stayed three more days if we could!

  • I highly recommend Jane's place. I am a regular visitor to Montpelier and her house is very close to the city center, perhaps a 5 minute walk. The room and bathroom are beautiful, and there is a separate entrance and off-street parking. Jane and her family are very hospitable and made me feel very welcome. I will try to stay there again when I return to the city.

  • We had a great time at Jane's place. It was cute and charming. It had wifi, coffee, a small fridge, a private entrance and it was in walking distance to stores and restaurants. We'll definitely be going back again!

  • Jane's husband was available for us when we arrived and was very friendly. We only stayed one night but were very comfortable. The room had a private entrance with its own bathroom so it was cosy and private. Very clean! Within walking distance to downtown. We had a lovely dinner at Positive Pie--yum, would recommend! Great value and more comfortable than a hotel.

  • Jane and her husband were incredibly friendly and helpful. It felt like being at home. The room was super comfy and warm and we were able to walk to the center of town for a lovely dinner at Positive Pie. If you happen to find yourself in Montpelier, I highly suggest this place!

  • Jane and Hutch were wonderfully helpful and considerate hosts and had thoughtfully provided tea/coffee, apples, chocolate and organic milk for us on our arrival. Jane was extremely helpful in getting us settled in.
The accommodation, which exceeded our expectations, was spotless and offered a homely atmosphere. It was well located for exploring this small and friendly state capital and also venturing further afield into the surrounding area.

  • This was our second stay with Jane and Hutch, and we will be staying with them again the next time we are in Montpelier. They provide a soft place to land after a day of travel and the room is quiet and cozy. Little amenities like tea and chocolate make this a really comfortable place to stay. Being within walking distant of downtown is an added bonus. Jane and Hutch are wonderful hosts!

  • We had a wonderful trip to the charming town of Montpelier, and Jane's accommodations were part of what made our trip so nice. The room was very inviting, clean, cozy, comfortable and quiet. Located within an easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Jane and her husband were perfect hosts. I highly recommend Jane's place!

  • What a great place to stay in Montpelier! We had a wonderful time visiting Vermont's capital and one of the best things was Jane's accommodations. Everything was first rate, the bed, the cleanliness, the parking, etc. The bathroom was really nice...I had just installed the exact same toilet in my house and it was not a cheap one! Loved the quiet street the house was on and it was so easy to walk to the vibrant downtown or to Hubbard Park. We will definitely try to stay here the next time we're in the area!

  • In some cases, travel requires flexibility. Jane and Hutch were much in tune with this need and made our stay in Montpelier very pleasant. We hope to see them again.
