Rachel & Benjamin made us feel at home from the very first second we stepped onto the property. They showed us the room, patio and storage area and were extremely helpful in offering suggestions to make our visit as enjoyable as can be. The room was clean, cozy and fully equipped in the bathroom and kitchen. The bed offered a good night's sleep as well!
The location was quiet, safe and ideal for both lake and mountain access. The driveway brings the driver to within an arm's length of the room door, which is nice for the packing/unpacking process. We've traveled quite a bit and assure you that this place can be booked with 100% confidence! The amount of thought and care that they've put into the room really shows.
We also loved Kingston, the neighbor's big, happy retriever!
Rachel was a really nice host, the place was amazing , clean , warm and with excellent localization, less than one mile from diamond peak ski and about 5 min to the lake!
Comfortable apartment, the hot chocolate sachets left in the kitchen drawers were amazing and much-needed in the cold weather. Bed was thoroughly comfortable too, as were the twin heaters. The kitchen was fully furnished with microwave oven and kettle. Bathroom was cosy and warm, pressure on shower head strong as well, which responded quickly to provide warm water. We'd definitely recommend this place to future visitors to Lake Tahoe.
What a relaxing experience! Rachel (and Benjamin) were very helpful and provided all the ammenities needed. Off the bat, a tour of the house was provided, and the studio was oh so cozy!! Rachel provided some wonderful restaurant suggestions, and she was very right on the deliciousness of all her recommendations-yum! I was also able to catch Benjamin in passing, and we shared a few laughs and thanked him for the stay. Overall, will return again and highly recommend the company of both Rachel and Benjamin. I look forward to return to the area in Spring and hope to have the pleasure of the hosts and their home again!
We were back for the third weekend and enjoyed every moment! Rachel is a very special spirit with a welcoming heart and home, with a knack for making her guests feel very welcomed! We will continue to book this space for our Lake Tahoe get-aways! Thanks, Rachel and Benjamin
Amazing place - it was the perfect size for my husband and our dog! Rachel and Ben were so incredibly welcoming and sweet, and helped us in finding local hikes and things to go do! Couldn't recommend any more! Definitely will be coming back to visit again.
Rachel and Benjamin's studio was perfect for our 2 night stay. It is very comfy and cozy and close to several restaurants in Incline Village. We were also able to bring our dog for no additional fee! She loved the wooded area at the end of the cul-de-sac and was able to run of leash there. Rachel and Benjamin were very friendly and accommodating. We would love to stay there again!
I'm so grateful to be living in such a beautiful place... and to be able to share it with the wonderful guests we have coming through. I am a author/speaker/facilitator and also lead retreats in Tahoe and Maui.
