Our bright and spacious apartment with an amazing lake view is only 20 min away from Amsterdam (train).
Modern facilities with high speed wifi available. Shopping center right next door with cinema, supermarket and many shops and restaurants.
Our nice and spacious apartment is provided with all modern commodities like air-conditioning, microwave-oven, laundry machine, video com to the building’s main front door, elevator, garbage disposal system, gym room and a gorgeous lake view.
The apartment has a nice veranda where you can enjoy the sunny days drinking coffee or reading a nice book. And when you feel like just hanging in front of the TV it’s convenient enough to just watch a movie on the comfortable L-shape sofa.
We have 3 rooms in our apartment: a living room, a smaller room, that we usually use as an office, and a bedroom. The open kitchen is on one end of the living room and the other and is a beautiful view on the lake Weerwater.
Besides the common areas like the elevators and the garbage disposal room you also get access to the indoor gym located in the lower level of the apartment building. It’s a shared gym with the rest of the building tenants with equipment like rowing machines, treadmill, cross trainer, bike trainers and weight lifting equipment.
The building has its own parking, but we would recommend to use the parking located right next to the supermarket at less than a minute walking distance. Better tariffs and easier access from the road.
Interaction with Guests
We make it a habit to meet the guests up front of the rental period since we’d like to meet them in person and show you around the apartment and the near area if possible. We want to make sure you feel comfortable here during your stay and we like to know who’s taking good care of our place.
If possible we’d like to meet at least a few days before the commencement of rental. If that’s not possible we want to arrange another solution to have met at least once in person.
With the apartment being in the center of Almere you get very easy and convenient access to all of the restaurants, shops and entertainment. Within a minute walking distance you have a supermarket, Media Markt electronics store, casino and the “Almere Schouwburg” theater. Beyond the one minute walking limit you have within 10 minutes walking most of the center’s conveniences: cinema, shopping center, diverse range of restaurants, train station (for going to Amsterdam or Batavia Stad in Lelystad).
For those who love architecture the city of Almere is a place you definitely don’t want to miss. With buildings from great architects from the Netherlands to Japan en in between you can be amazed with the beautiful structures.
About 10 minutes walking distance away is the Almere Centrum train station. From here you can easily get to Amsterdam in 20 minutes, or to Lelystad in 15 minutes.
When you’re arriving by car you can park in the nearby indoor parking garage Schippersgarage. Conveniently located next to the supermarket and right besides our building. For prices on parking indoor you can check here [Parkeren in Almere]((website hidden)).
If you plan on renting a bicycle you can rent one from the train station at Almere Centrum station. If you’re bringing your own you can park it inside the building on the apartment floor.
Other Things to Note
Every year during summer there are plenty of markets and festivals in and around Almere and most of them are happening in the center of Almere.
When you’re interested in learning more about the history of Almere, and get a brief introduction about the buildings and their architects, you can enjoy a boat tour from the center of Almere (lake Weerwater) through the canals and back again.
As with any other rental we expect the guest to behave like a gentleman/lady and take good care of our apartment and its interior. As we live in an apartment building where also other families live we also expect the guest to consider them and be a good neighbor.
Stay here and you could give this host their first review!
Having lived in China for 5 years and now back in Holland for 1,5 years already. Have been travelling some Asian countries, South-Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Macao.
Love photography, art and design and exploring new hidden gems that won't remain hidden from us for long. I'm not the lazy traveller type, but quite the opposite. I like to travel cities and experience the most local and cultural experience available. A few of my favorite cities are: Rome, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong (in order of preference).
The one thing I live my life by is to seize the moment and enjoy it while it lasts. Don't complain about things you cannot change, instead find a way to enjoy it in your own way. Don't look back, because that's not the direction your life goes.
