A Home in the Country is located in a valley a midst a working farm. We are near the Buckeye Deli in Nashville and Das Dutch Essen Haus in Shreve where you will be able to enjoy Amish cooking. The Black Fork Bistro in Loudonville can be a destination restaurant. The Mohican State Park is only minutes away. This area was an Indian settlement. The flint factory was located at the corner of TR 215 and CR 50 because it was a dirty job it wasn't allowed in the village. The Bridge of Dreams located off SR 62 near Brinkhaven is the longest covered non-motorized bridge in the state. The Ugly Bunny Winery, French Ridge and Sunny Slope Winery are all close.. We are surrounded with the beauty of nature and a peace and tranquility that we hope you will be able to enjoy during your stay at A Home in the Country.
