Everything you could want for a stay in Providence. The room was spacious, private, quiet, on a lovely residential street. Less than 15 minutes to the airport, and about a mile from Brown University -- quite walkable in nice weather. Host left cookies on the table and the room fridge was stocked with some nice drinks, and in the bathroom a variety of toiletries, as well as a hair dryer. There's parking, but I didn't use it -- I walked and used Uber. I would definitely recommend this room to anyone coming to Providence, especially if they like a quiet room away from the college crowds but a short drive away (or a longish walk).
Staying at Adam's house in Providence was nothing short of a pleasure. Adam was easy to speak with before the trip and had no problem helping us in any way needed. We came in a little late in the evening but he made us feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean and a great first experience for us with Air BnB. It was a pleasure meeting you, and I definitely suggest this location to anyone who plans to visit the area.
Adam made a special exception for our booking, and we couldn't be more grateful for his helping to make our short trip to Providence possible. He and Phoebe were so much more than hospitable - they even picked us up from the train station and gave us a mini-tour of Providence! The room had everything we needed and much more including fresh linens, tasty drinks and snacks, a mini-fridge and microwave, a small lounge area, exceptional water pressure in the shower, and even toiletries. The whole space was tastefully decorated and spotless, the private entrance enabled us to have all the privacy we needed, and the location was ultra-convenient - we easily walked to Wayland Square, the Thayer Street area, and beyond. I would definitely stay with Adam and Phoebe again!
The room was clean and very comfortable, and the location was great!! Adam was quick to respond, accommodating, and friendly. Overall the experience was very easy and professional. I especially loved the neighborhood, a beautiful area with lovely little local cafes and restaurants. I felt safe too, which is very important to me since I travel alone a majority of the time. I highly recommend this place and I would stay there again!!
Once again, Adam was welcoming, friendly and easy to work with. I had stayed here before and looked forward to coming again. The space itself is comfortable, cozy and immaculate. The bathroom has been updated and is lovely. And once again, my college student daughter especially enjoyed the treats left in the room!
Adam and Phoebe were so welcoming when we arrived. I'd called earlier in the day to let Adam know we would be late, and he was very accommodating. They are very sweet hosts! The room and bathroom were extremely clean, warm, and the description/pictures were exactly accurate. The neighborhood was family-oriented, safe, and semi-upscale. Wayland Square has cute shops, a lovely bookstore, Starbucks, a cute diner, and a couple nice restaurants. If you don't have a car, you'll get your exercise walking, or you'll have to seek out public transportation (take a convenient, $2 bus right through the square to downtown). Uber and/or taxi services abound, so you probably won't have an issue with that. All in all, staying with Adam and Phoebe was a wonderful experience, and I am grateful we found them!
We had a perfect stay in this wayland square home. The room and bathroom was exceptionally clean and we appreciated the modern furnishings. The bed was ultra comfortable. It is in a fantastic location--a short walk to coffee cafés,restaurants and a good running path. Our daughter is in her first year of college and we look forward to more stays in Adam's home.

About the Host, Adam
Originally from New Jersey, but Providence has been my wonderful home for eight years. I moved here to take a position as a professor at a local university, and I never plan to leave! Since I know Providence and Rhode Island very well, I would be happy to introduce you to the many wonderful things this city and state have to offer, including exceptional restaurants, exciting entertainment, beautiful beaches, state parks, and historic tourist attractions.

Right down the street from my house and a great stroll along the river during the day or at night. Watch kayaks and rowers in the water, and ducks all around.
Great sushi and Japanese, and open late.
Great dinners, fun brunches, and even better if you get a seat on the deck overlooking the river. Highly recommend.
Take the time to walk Brown's beautiful campus and through Thayer Street too.
One block from my house is this famous boulevard lined with gorgeous homes, a walking/biking path, and veer off the road into some of the most beautiful architecture in the city.
Great, interesting pizzas in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
Best falafel wraps around . . .
As close as you'll get to Greek in Providence, but with many other options on the menu too.
Good, tasty, family-run, but far from gourmet. It's quick, cheap, easy, and delicious.
A good museum to visit if you have the time. Close by, and part of Providence history.
A great museum that you should visit!
A great part of Providence history, one of the oldest surviving private libraries. Pop in and look around while visiting the historic colonials on Benefit Street.
Make sure you walk this street and enter into Providence history!
Here you will find some of Providence's most famous residents, in a beautiful and serene setting overlooking the water.
Another wonderful favorite with a huge menu and delicious options.
One of the best restaurants in Providence. Hard to get in, reservations only for parties of 6 or more, show up early and enjoy their fine cuisine.
Exquisite. Excellent French, and sometimes with the attitude too :).
Great, local, close, authentic, and family-run Japanese and Sushi. Highly recommend if you want a good, quick, delicious meal at a reasonable price.
If you can handle the lack of ambiance in the neighborhood and the restaurant, then you will certainly appreciate their excellent Middle Eastern food.
A Providence gem for wood-grilled pizza.
A staple Italian restaurant in Federal Hill. Also one of my personal favorites.
Within my top 5 Italian in Providence!
Everyone in Providence knows about this little and wonderful pastry shop in Providence, which makes the perfect end to a date night in Federal Hill.
This place is excellent medium-sized plates, small and charming, but hard to get in to unless you show up at 5:30. Otherwise, you will wait an hour. Famous chef, sometimes experimental menu.
Great, traditional Italian in a beautiful restaurant setting.
One of my favorite restaurants in Providence. Find Peruvian and Bolivian food.
Best breakfast in town, with local and unique ingredients and recipes.
