Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Adam was a great host --- went out of his way to make logistics for check-in extremely easy and knew when to be present. The room was as described and hotel-clean. He even left out a basket of small snacks and replenished them throughout the stay. The only downside to the room was that it is in a basement and does not get much natural light --- however, if you're out and about during the day this would present no issues.

    5/5 stay; would return!

  • I stayed with Adam (and Phoebe) for an entire week and I liked their place a lot. The basement studio is absolutely clean and tidy. Adam is very careful about tiny details, and it shows: he cares about having walking maps and restaurant guides available in the guest room, there are plenty of small snacks, oatmeal, coffee, "mini-bar", ... The bathroom is very nicely set-up with big and small shampoos and soap, towels are professionally wrapped, and so on....

Adam's place is less than a mile from Brown campus center; and RISD / ICERM is less than two miles towards downtown. Absolutely walkable, even in snowy winter; Otherwise, around the corner at Wayland square, one can get a coffee at Starbucks and wait for a bus through campus and downtown (roughly every 15-20 minutes, $2 a ride).

    Would stay there again!

  • Adam was a wonderful host. He made our stay enjoyable and fun by providing clear directions and excellent recommendations. I would return to Adam's place anytime I'm back in Providence; the apartment's location is in the heart of the city's vibrant East side. Couldn't recommend him and and his place more! Thanks, Adam!

  • Adam's place was just perfect and Adam an excellent host, welcoming and accommodating and really flexible when it came to the booking process. Really appreciated! The house is pristine clean, the bed amazing, the selection of teas in the kitchen great and the cat is rather charming too. Not to mention the location, walking distance to Brown and RISD and with Whole Foods just around the corner. Next time I am in providence, I will definitely be booking with Adam again.

  • Adam provided a very nice room and was very accommodating from the start. From the moment we stepped inside, Adam asked us how our travels were and suggested areas of the city to check out, as well the best way to get there. He gave us further suggestions on specific restaurants upon request later on. Adam also let us keep to ourselves but was never more than a text message or shout upstairs away in case we needed anything. Overall, a pleasant experience.

  • Adam was a great host and was very easy to deal with both before and during our stay. He was very welcoming and made himself available to answer any questions we had regarding where to eat, things to see and what to do in our short stay in Providence.
The room was immaculate and was very conveniently located. The private entrance was great as we could come and go as we pleased, without disturbing Adam.
I would highly recommend staying here, Providence is a lovely place and when we return we will definitely be staying here again.

    November 2011
  • The accommodations were as described, absolutely clean, and a great place to stay. The bed was comfortable. Adam's a great host, and the little snacks and juice in the morning were such a nice touch. For this particular booking, the separate entrance was nice to have, just so you feel like you're not disturbing anyone coming and going. I'd book it again when I come back to Providence. Happy ABB'ing!
