The Space

Welcome to the Cloudhead Arthouse, an art and education organization that focuses on building community through art.

We host travelers, artists, volunteers and other digital nomads from all over the world.

Every room in the house overlooks Salta city and the surrounding mountains where horses and cattle roam freely. We have hiking directly behind the house, horseback riding down the street, and we have bicycles free for your use

We're approximately 5 miles from the city center and well situated to explore the mountains, visit the city museums and festivals as well as the perfect home base to visit the surrounding cities of Cafayate, Cachi, Chicoana and the famous Quebrada de San Lorenzo.

We have two outdoor decks and a quincho with asador where you can take part in a traditional Argentine barbecue. Our kitchen has just about anything you would need for cooking.

We are well experienced with hosting people who must work while they travel. To this end, we have solid wifi and plenty of spaces to work. We also have plenty studio space for artists and for yoga and dance practice.

We have years of experience hosting people from all over the world and know the Salta area well, from food & wine to hiking to art exhibits and music. If we don't know, we know someone who will.

  • We had a great time in Salta which is a wonderful place in Argentina. Leigh was here to welcome us when we arrived even if we were an hour late on the expected schedule. Her house is 12 km away from Salta's city center, it is perfectly located. The house is very quiet and all members of Leigh's family are very welcoming. Her daughter came to the pool with us and played. We only spent one night in that place but it definitely would be worth coming back. We left early in the morning, but Leigh insisted on preparing breakfast for us. Her pancakes were great!

  • I had a fantastic time with Leigh and Noah. They are both lovely people with creative minds. They made me feel completely comfortable and welcome to come and go as I please. They know Salta and made some great recommendations for things to see and do. The dogs and cats are wonderful, too! I can't wait to return to Salta and hopefully stay with them again!

  • Expats Leigh and Noah have created a unique lifestyle for themselves in an absolutely gorgeous spot on the outskirts of Salta. Their home is lovely, the views to die for and the big bouncy dogs are a delight, not to mention the cats. They are an interesting couple and it was a pleasure to stay with them.
It would be a help to have your own transport, but Leigh and Noah are in and out of Salta daily, so there are planty of chances to get a lift. Noah took me to the bus station to get tickets for Cafayate as I had been unable to book them on line, and then got me to the bus on the day as well as delivering me to the airport for final departure.
You will love staying with Leigh and her family.

  • Some very nice days sharing Leigh's house with her family. The kids enjoyed to play together and with the cats. The house is really nice and the view is amazing. You'd better have a car if you stay there car even if Leigh is very helpfull it's far from everything.

  • Leigh and her family are great hosts and great cooks! They have a beautiful home in a lovely location, perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed the company of their pets too. They gave us lots of information about Salta and helped connect us with people that made our stay there more interesting. We´d love to come back one day. Thanks for everything!

  • We had a very nice stay at Leigh's hunter house. What a beautiful place to relax and with a great swimmingpool. From the beginning you we feel home at this place. That's because of Leigh and her family. The breakfasts are delicious. And we are in love with the dogs and cats.

  • When I first made my arrangements through AirBnB I told friends at home that I was "renting a room in Salta". Now when people ask I say - "I stayed with friends in Salta" because that was truly my experience with Leigh and her family. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease and the feeling continued throughout my stay. They have a beautiful home in a gorgeous location (and breakfast was delicious)! I'm happy to say that not only did I receive a great introduction to Salta, I also gained two great friends.

  • Leigh and Noah have an absolutely beautiful home in the mountains just outside of Salta. It was a wonderful place to stay. They are really friendly people who made us feel comfortable and at home the entire time. They also know Salta and the surrounding area quite well and were able to give us some great tips for planning our Cafayate wine tour.

I would highly recommend staying with Leigh if you happen to be visiting Salta.
