Welcome to our bright, spacious family home in central North Strand in Dublin’s City Centre. Although we’re super central, the house is extremely quiet. We have an elegant master bedroom, a children’s room with two single beds and a converted loft space with double bed.
The house, designed by an award winning architect and is a wonderful marriage of Victorian and contemporary styling.
We're a 15 min stroll to Dublin’s centre point, O’Connell St and has a generous and graphic garden, a rare find in city centre living.
If you’re renting a car, we can cover your parking costs with parking tags, and two kids BMX’s are at your disposal.
We are a 20 minutes car ride from Dublin Airport (€20-€25 in a cab), there are also buses and dedicated airport

We're happy to give you the run of our home and are happy to leave you to enjoy your stay in wonderful Dublin.
Nous avons reçu un chaleureux accueil de la part de Sonya qui se s'est montrée très arrangeante avec nous. La maison était très jolie et confortable, conforme aux photos.
Thank you Sonya. Your apartment suited our family of 6 perfectly. The apartment is great and and so convenient for Croke Park.
The reservation was canceled 85 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Sonya and her family were very welcoming and supported our family's chaotic travel situation, going above and beyond to meet our needs. The home is lovely and accommodated the six adults who were staying there with enough shared as well as private space to be comfortable, although the upstairs/loft room requires good memory to keep from bumping your head on the stairway ceiling!
The neighborhood is a bit of a walk from downtown, and there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, though it is just off a main street with easy access to taxis and bus.
The house was very comfortable and had excellent space - the photos give an accurate feel for the space which was bright and beautifully decorated. We were a group of 5 adults (1 couple, 3 singles) and we each had a proper bed and no problems sharing the full bath upstairs and the half bath on the main floor. The backyard's lovely patio was a wonderful place to relax together, and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked.
Sonya was a wonderful host - our communication was very timely, she was always friendly and provided helpful notes on our arrival with great recommendations for places to visit and eat. She also provided us with a welcome basket of breakfast foods that was greatly appreciated!
Re: location, we were an ~25 minute walk from Temple Bar and 30 min+ to Grafton street and beyond. While I would not make the walk alone after dark (the area immediately around the house was quite fine, but some parts of the North Strand road become a bit more unfriendly after dark), during the daytime we felt very comfortable and buses and cabs were always readily available and inexpensive. I would recommend exercising a reasonable amount of caution, but would not consider the location a drawback. I would even say that I would be more concerned about drunken rowdiness staying in the area immediately around Temple Bar as opposed to the more residential North Strand area.
Sonya was great to deal with. Very accommodating with arrival and leaving times. She left bread, juice etc. Great location for Croke park. House was comfortable but bit disappointed as it could have been cleaner. Overall great for 1 or 2 nights.
Hi Sheena, There is some wear and tear on the floors that may be seen as dirt but I steam cleaned and vacuumed all floors before your arrival and cleaned bathroom and kitchen thoroughly. I'm sorry you were disappointed. If you had shared specific needs, I would have been happy to tell you where things were.
This home in Dublin was a perfect fit for family and our van! The home was very comfortable and large, 4 beds and a couch worked well for our family of six. The bathroom was very large, warm and plenty of towels for all. Sonya provided on-street parking, a big plus in the city, and breakfast food and coffee. The neighborhood was quiet and a 20 minute safe walk to city center. We had a small problem with the internet but Sonya responded quickly and personally to our complete satisfaction. We felt very at home here and my older sons, 25, implored me to leave a positive review, which I knew I would do. Thanks Sonya and I hope to visit with you again! Cheers, Barbara
Welcome to our home, and welcome to Dublin. We took a historic Victorian house and created a warm, welcoming and contemporary home. We are looking forward to welcoming you. We love cooking, photography, art and fashion, feast your eyes on our extensive library covering all these topics.
For a real treat, I'll tell you about 'The South Wall' at Pigeon House, a wonderful mile long pier walk right into Dublin Bay. See the city and bay area from a whole new angle and exhale any stress away.
