Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Like her household, Ruha is vibrant, warm, and welcoming. The accommodations far exceeded my expectations, and provided me with a memorable, albeit brief, tour of the Boston area. Thanks to Ruha's thoughtfulness, I was made to feel completely at home, and thus able to enjoy a visit which combined family and professional obligations. I hope to stay again soon with the Benjamins. Theirs is the kind of lodging that make Airbnb such a success.

  • My friends and I had such a great, two-night stay at Ruha's! She and her family were so gracious and accommodating, especially given our last-minute booking. Ruha responded promptly to my reservation the night BEFORE our stay, and even came home from work early to let us into the house. The four of us were in Boston for the Notre Dame-BC game, and Ruha also offered to drive us to and from the stadium.

In addition to being an excellent host, Ruha has a very clean, beautiful home. The basement suite let each of us have our own private room (one couple and two single ladies) and tons of closet space. The one thing I feared was that it would be a challenge trying to share the 1.5 bathrooms, but it wasn't at all! I never had to wait to use the restroom at any point.

One last note: We rented a car, but the T was only about a 3 minute drive away, so I'm sure it would be fine without.

I would recommend Ruha's home to anyone visiting Boston! She and her family are superb hosts, and the suite is fantastic.

  • We stayed in Ruha house for 5 nights. The house is very cute. Ruha, her husban Shawn and the kids are very kind. Kids bake delicious cakes and cookies for breakfast, Shawn and Ruha are very keen to help anytime in any manner they can. (We were in Boston during Sandy Hurricaine, they took such a good care of us !)Thank you

  • Accommodations, while basic, were comfortable, neat and very, very clean. Shawn was a most welcoming host and I very much enjoyed our conversations. Their two sons are real gentlemen. The Benjamins are special people who helped make our time in Boston most memorable.

  • We stayed with Ruha and her family for three nights and had a wonderful time! The whole apartment was very tidy and clean and Ruha and her whole family was very welcoming and friendly. We loved to stay with them and can definitely recommend it.

  • The location was terrific and the hosts very pleasant. Ruha was conscientious. We received regular emails leading up to our check in. The rooms were spacious and clean. Most of all we found the host to be very helpful; nforming us about Boston, how to get around on transit, how to access different parks in the neighbourhood. We would recommend this B and B guest suite. If we return to Boston we would definitely stay again!

  • If you are looking for a place to stay in Boston, this would be it. Ruha and Shawn (her husband) were very welcoming and easygoing. It was more like visiting friends. The house is in a great location and with beautiful interior decor. Ruha and family are amazing host. I have no doubt you will have a great time staying at her place.

  • We had a great time staying here. The place was clean, convient to get around town, and was a great place to sleep at the end of the day. Ruha and her entire family were great hosts and we look forward to staying with them again when we return to the Boston area.

  • Our family stayed at Ruha's BnB for one night on a quick weekend jaunt to Boston. There was a huge bike race on the weekend when we decided to visit, so we were happy to find a place to stay, and extremely lucky to find this 3 room suite in a clean and perfect condition. Ruha and her husband were extremely welcoming and were happy to offer any assistance that we might need. Their suite is a really great deal for travelers that might need the extra space (i.e. more than 2 people) and the space is large and impeccably clean. I highly recommend Ruha's guest suite for anyone traveling to the Boston area!

  • Our stay here was great! The rooms were perfect for our group of 5. Ruha was really easygoing, checking in with us on our way to Boston, and still welcomed us with a hug despite our late night arrival. Their home reflects their family's warmth and openness, and I would definitely recommend a stay here. Thanks Ruha!
