  • Where do I begin?? Ruha and her husband Shawn were amazing, to say the least. They went above and beyond the call of duty as hosts. Not only did they pick my friends and me up from the T stop the night we got into Boston/Brookline at 12:30 am, but they dropped us off and picked us up EVERY time we came and went. The beds were comfortable and the sleeping quarters were quiet; they even had toiletries and a hair dryer in the guest suite! To top it off, they even attended the Boston Marathon and cheered us on as we ran past them right before Boston College. I would HIGHLY recommend them as hosts! Wonderful people and a beautiful family!

  • Enjoyable stay in a convenient location in Brookline, MA.
Delightful family, everything is just as is listed. Plenty of room, clean and quiet.

    April 2014
  • Like her household, Ruha is vibrant, warm, and welcoming. The accommodations far exceeded my expectations, and provided me with a memorable, albeit brief, tour of the Boston area. Thanks to Ruha's thoughtfulness, I was made to feel completely at home, and thus able to enjoy a visit which combined family and professional obligations. I hope to stay again soon with the Benjamins. Theirs is the kind of lodging that make Airbnb such a success.

  • Great pre-Christmas stay at the Benjamin's house in Brookline – traveling with three college-age kids. Beautifully vibrant house in an excellent location with culture and charm. We enjoyed lots of care and attention from Ruha, even though the Benjamins were away during our visit. The Chestnut Hill area of Brookline is located just off Route 9, a very quick and easy drive into downtown Boston.

  • My family had a fantastic stay in Ruha's lovely suite over Thanksgiving while we were in town to see family. Ruha went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and we had a wonderful time relaxing in her home. Having access to a kitchen was so helpful for us. Thank you!!

  • I couldn't have asked for more! The suite was quiet, peaceful, comfortable, clean and Ruha was very accommodating. Ruha is a great host and I look forward to staying with her again soon.

    November 2013
  • Ruha and Shawn are very warm & welcoming hosts! I wasn't there very long on this trip, but will try to stay at their place again. Absolutely charming!

    October 2013
  • Highly recommended. Ruha and Shawn were a very friendly
couple with a lovely home. Ruha was away during my stay but
always prompt at answering my emails and Shawn went out of his way to make my stay comfortable, even offering to give
me a ride to/from the nearest T station. He also went out of his way
to give me all the privacy I desired (maybe a little too much :).
The rooms were very clean, beautifully decorated
and furnished with lots of nice little extras
and I effectively had 3 rooms to myself! My only complaint is the
single full bathroom which you share with the occupants of the house, as other reviewers have noted. It is a little out of the way,
but a brisk 15 minute walk will get you to the Chestnut hill
    station on the T system.

  • Ruha and her family were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The accommodation was spacious, clean and private. It was wonderful to stay with the Benjamins!
