This is a room with a shower but without outside window.
The rooms are small. They are usually for people who live very simply not requiring bigger space. We are located near Seocho station, subway line No. 2.
You should share the shower, if you use a room without shower.
There are many law firms in Seocho, as there are supreme court, prosecutors’ office, courts in Seocho. Art center, the biggest one in Korea, and National Library is near our building. You can walk to Han River. It takes about 20-25 minutes. You can take a bus to Han River and it takes 5-10 minutes.
You can go to anywhere in Seoul using the subway system. Seocho subway station is one minute from the building. You can go to Itaewon using bus 740 at exit number 7 of Seocho station.
I would like to tell you how you come to the building.
Take limousine bus no. 6020 at the airport. Get off at Gyodae station (Seoul National University of Education). It would take about one and half hour from the airport. Take subway at the station and get off at Seocho station that is one stop from Gyodae st. Get out of exit No. 1 of Seocho Station. → Turn right at the first corner→ Turn left at the first corner. → You will find the sign board of '김밥천국(Kimbab Cheonguk)' Please enter the building.
You could use the subway system. Incheon Airport->Hongik University Station->Seocho Station.
You can use the followings free of charge: Internet, cooked rice, Korean soup, Kimchi, shared washing machine and detergent, cooking tools, gas, utility bills, a tv, a small fridge, water purifier, micro wave
You can use WiFi.
It is good deal for the money. The location is great so if you prioritize time and accessibility, I recommend to stay this accommodation. Jinwoo is highly responsive and give you answers and solutions to your any questions, though he never shows up in the site.
It is very quiet for the location in the middle of downtown.
If I say things to be improved, I stayed in a room with private shower but shampoo is not facilitated. Only an old and cracked soap was in the shower room. One bath towel is included but no bath mat on the floor. Air conditioning is center-controlled so you cannot adjust room temperature as you want.
For the price, these rooms are very good quality. Obviously they're quite spartan, but considering the location right in the heart of Seoul, you're getting a pretty good deal.
The building is conveniently located right on Line no. 2, which will take you just about anywhere you need to go in the city.
Jin is a great host and speaks English, so communication wasn't an issue. For travelers on a budget, this is ideal.
Nice place, nice people
This is a no frills stay in the middle of the south part of Seoul. The room was reasonably clean, but perhaps not as new as the photo suggested. nevertheless fine for less than W25000 a night.
Only gripe - no in-room toilet.
Jin is an amazing host! I got lost the first thing I got to Seoul trying to find the hotel but luckily I ran into a nice man who knew English and made a call for me! Jin came to pick me up and even helped me roll my bag to the hotel. He responds quickly and is always willing to help! I ended up canceling the other hotels because I like this place so much. There is a laundry machine, free rice+soup, and the bathroom is always clean.
Even though the walls are thin (you can hear walking in the hallways and your neighbors), I can look past that since the host is so nice, the price is great, and the location is so convenient (off line 2 which connects to all the other stations)!
Yes I would recommend this place to anyone!
The room was actually larger than I expected, maybe even bigger than some american dorm rooms. I had lots of storage space and enjoyed having access to the kitchen, complimentary water cooler, fridge, washing machine and rooftop.
The only con was that the in-room shower was not as clean as I expected when I arrived, and the same for the shared bathrooms. The walls are also quite thin, which some people may not like.
In general I enjoyed my stay and found the location quite convenient, especially with respect to the Gangnam area nightlife.
It's just match the price!
Comfortable bed, hot water. If you don't mind with small space just for you to rest; this is the perfect place. Suitable for lone-traveller.
Plus, it's located very near with subway station, so you can reach anywhere within seoul by Metro easily -- and the neighborhood is full of coffee shops, and many place for foodies.
I stayed for 10 days, and they provide washing machine which is very useful for me, although no drying machine -- we have to go to the rooftop to dry our clothes using the sunlight (for summer it will be okay, but I don't know about other seasons).
It takes only 1-2 minutes to go from hotel to subway station. There are so many cafes and restaraunts in this area, so no problem with getting food and rest.
The room was clean and it included refrigerator and shower. Toilet, kitchen and washing machine were on the floor.
I stayed in mini-room 19 days and it was good time. I can find only 1 weakness: walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors.
But the main thing in my opinion is friendly and helpful staff. The host helped me so much when I had problems.
Great place for the money. Rooms are small (as described) but they are comfortable enough. They have pretty much everything you need.
