Welcome to my amazing apartment in San Francisco's wonderful Russian Hill neighborhood!
Experience true San Franciscan lifestyle and live like a (very fortunate) local city dweller in this walker's oasis, just one short block away from the glorious Hyde Street cable car line and six blocks to the crookedest street in the world. Historic Chinatown, Union Square, the Financial District, North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf are all within quick and pleasant downhill walking distance from here.
If you’re here for business, the 10/12 bus lines stop a block away and can shoot you directly to the Moscone Convention Center in about 15 minutes.
I just finished setting everything up in this awesome remodeled studio apartment in a great classic San Francisco building, so everything is brand new and impeccably clean with great character. It’s a very spacious fit for the solo business traveller or the sightseeing couple. My home is fully furnished with all the comforts of home, including fresh linens and towels.
A plethora of the greatest restaurants and nightlife this city has to offer await you along nearby Hyde Street and Polk Street. Being surrounded by so many delicious and affordable dining options I rarely find myself eating at home here, but if you choose to the fully stocked kitchen features functional cooking amenities with basic cookware and dishes/flatware, microwave and coffee maker.
• Entire fully furnished apartment home for your stay
• Fresh linens and towels
• Toiletries and hairdryer provided, just bring your toothbrush!
• High speed cable internet with Wi-Fi
• Flat screen TV with premium HD cable service
• Full/double size bed
• Super comfy Sealy Posturepedic mattress
• Table and chairs
• Huge walk-in closet and dresser space for your clothes
• Classic “clawfoot” bathtub
• Full kitchen with basic cookware, dishes and flatware
• Coin-op laundry in building
• Laundromat and dry-cleaner a few doors away
• Numerous convenience stores and groceries within a couple blocks’ radius
Since this is my own second home and I’d like to stay here for a while, I’d like to kindly ask you to be mindful of my neighbors and apartment during your stay—NO parties, pets or smoking will be tolerated inside my apartment, so if these are your intentions please look elsewhere.
I think it’s clear that I love this place, and I hope you decide to take the opportunity to spend your visit here. I’m a third generation San Franciscan, and during your stay I’ll gladly provide personalized recommendations toward the best in local dining and activities—all the best stuff that you won’t find in guidebooks—to truly enrich your visit and leave your heart in San Francisco!
If this sounds like an ideal arrangement for you, please contact me so we could get to know each other and discuss availability/logistics; tell me a little about yourself and what’s sparked your visit to SF. I look forward to meeting and hosting you during your visit.

The location of this place is perfect for those who are looking to immerse themselves in what makes San Francisco one of the most liveable cities in the world.
The apartment is in Russian Hill and great for those active types who are willing to do a little exploring through the hilly neighbourhood and its surrounds.
Polk St is just a couple of blocks away and has everything you would want - cafes, restaurants, bars and groceries. Plenty of public transport at your doorstep and the Marina, Little Italy and Chinatown are also within walking distance.
If you're just looking for a mall to hang out at, the city centre may be more your style. For those who like to dine out, explore and take in San Fran's sights and sounds, Russian Hill is the perfect place for you.
Austin was easy to work with and his place was great. Newly renovated and very clean.
Wow! SF was amazing and Austin's place was a great place to base ourselves. It was smack bang in the middle of SF half way between fisherman's wharf and halfway between downtown: just perfect: could access either by foot in 20mins. Location also meant that we were far enough away from seals, foghorns, trams noises to be able to relax. SF must be the noisiest city I have ever stayed in but at Austin's place you have the best chance of getting some rest.
Austin is a perfectly responsive host, which makes us feel secured our reservation, travel plan & even any need during our stay. We'd appreciate this v much esp. our original reservation was cancelled by another host in last minute, which made us a bit nervous as it's our 1st vacation in the states. Austin home is clean, bright & with great location. Easy access to tourist spots like Fisherman Wharf, Cable car station to Union Square, etc. even nice to walk around across the Victoria heritage architecture. Lots of nice restaurants nearby where we enjoyed some. Austin is great to hv a book for guest exchanging ideas on dining places. Nice networking host. I love my stay here which is a fanstatic one as San Francisco is our last stop in the states.
Austin's apartment was great! It is very cosy and in a perfect location. I would highly recommend staying here, you are close to many of the main attractions of San Francisco and it is easy to walk around to different neighborhoods as well as access public transportation. You will not be disappointed!
Austin's place was perfectly situated in Russian Hill, which made walking to the waterfront and nearby areas a cinch. The studio was spacious enough for the two of us and was far enough off the beaten path so that it wasn't noisy to interfere with sleeping. The linens were clean as was the rest of the unit. Great place to rest your head after a long day walking around the city.
We started looking at Air bnb after deciding the hotels were just way too expensive for the weekend. Austin's apt worked out perfectly; great size for two people and in a great neighborhood. The light in the apt is really amazing and it feels spacious for a studio. Russian Hill is beautiful, close to most things...our favorite was Polk Street and the restaurant Frascati. Can't wait to come back!
Great location and place to rest at night after touring the city. Austin was a great host and nothing shy of spectacular. The neighborhood provides many options and is close to many other neighborhoods you may want to explore or hangout in. Will definitely consider this place when we return.
The place was everything I could have wanted and more. The place was small but homey and just enough room for my girlfriend and I. Bed was super comfy. Austin was so gracious and helpful when we arrived. He gave us many options to go to around the area for food and drink. We were literally near everything that we wanted to see, Polk street just 3 blocks away. This was my first airbnb and it was wonderful. I will definitely be back to San Francisco and i would definitely stay at Austins place everytime.
I had a nice quiet time at Austin's place. This apartment is in a great location and provides everything you need, and nothing more. This is a good spot for a busy traveler.
