Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.
Irish Acres Farm is host to guest friendly activities. Sit & relax or join in farm chores, hike, fish, meditate. Light a camp fire and enjoy Nature at her finest. Experience the coziness of a rustic "tiny house" off-grid log FAIRY CABIN set beside a 1 acre spring fed pond. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, & families (with kids). No pets or therapy animals allowed. We strive to be a tech free zone (NO WIFI or TV's). A true authentic connection with Nature and each other.

The space
We are a working, teaching, awakening family farm.
Circa 1848 blended with today's fun & function.
We can accommodate guests ages 2+ and older.
Babies are welcome, but we have no cribs, high
chairs or pack n plays. You supply accessories.

Tours, classes and arts & crafts activities can be arranged for any or all interests such as: guided tours of the gardens & orchard, organic / biodynamic garden & farming classes,
crafting dream pillow sachets, creating felted soap bars, making corn husk dolls, planting kitchen herb pots, pressing apples for fresh cider sampling and other seasonal festivities.

The large barn gathering space has tables, chairs and seating. Ideal space for activities in case of inclement weather. To see a video done by former guests, go to YouTube, and type in "Irish Acres Glamping". We are a perfect place for a micro wedding, family reunions, spirit filled retreats,
bridal showers and birth to end of life celebrations.

Guest access
FAIRY CABIN - a cozy "tiny house" hand built log cabin. Off grid (no electric, heat or plumbing) but very comfy with battery candle lights, inside wash sink, outside port-a-potty, outside wash sink. Sleeps 1-4 persons maximum w/ 1 double
bed on main floor & 1 double loft mattress & wraparound covered porch overlooking 1+ acre spring fed pond.

A 2 burner camp cook stove, large ice cooler, water jug, cowboy coffee pot, kitchenware & pots, pans are furnished for guest use.
There is NO Wi-Fi or TV. Cell phone reception is spotty at best.

Just a quick drive or short stroll up the farm lane, guests have full use of the barn bathroom w/ shower, sink & flush toilet.

Also in the barn, there is a large shared gourmet kitchen which is available for all guests to use. This fully furnished turn-key kitchen has a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer combo, plus a commercial refrigerator, a chest freezer, electric range/oven, microwave oven, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, pots & pans, dishes and kitchenware.

All accommodations have fire pits furnished w/ firewood, newspaper, kindling and roasting sticks. Fishing in the pond is catch & release only. A two person paddleboat is also available for guest use.
You bring your fishing poles, barbless hooks & lures, life jackets.

Come join in the fun and frolics on the farm. Visit the meditation labyrinth or stroll the wildflower meadows and native prairies. Children must be supervised at all times.

Free garden & greenhouse tours. We also offer arts & craft activities such as making Dream Pillow herbal sachets, crafting a traditional Indian Corn Husk Dolls, planting a kitchen herbal planter pot,
felting woolen mitten soap bars or designing waterproof sit - upon outdoor cushions. These additional offerings can be booked prior to arrival
or scheduled once you're here. Contact host for more information and specific activity pricing.

Other things to note
Bring suitable outdoor playwear and sporting gear such as fishing poles, life jackets, hooks with no barbs. You can cook onsite at the fire pits, barn gourmet kitchen or patronize local restaurants which are less than a 10 minute
drive from the farm. We also have a croquet set, bocce ball game, corn hole, board games, puzzles and playing cards available for guest use.

We are a working FARM and not a hotel or resort. Interaction with Nature in the form of flora, fauna (bugs, dust, dirt) is an integral part of farm life
and this is what you may encounter to different degrees when you choose to stay with us. Make sure to bring bug spray to keep the mosquitos from biting.

There is no Wi-Fi or TV service available anywhere on the farm. Cell phone reception is spotty, intermittent and solely dependent on your carrier plan which may or may NOT cover this area.

You may hear traffic noise from time to time as well. Ear plugs are not required but suggested for light sleepers. Louder still are the crickets, frogs and night owls for an evening serenade.
