Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce chalet calme et idéalement situé où tout est fait pour s'y sentir tout de suite très a l'aise. Très bonne adresse !
Jacquie's cabin is the perfect place to stay when you're in Ireland and looking for a quiet and beautiful home to spend your vacation. The four of us had an amazing time. The sea is just a short walk away (you can see it from the terrace), the neighbors are nice and don't disturb you and in the cabin you can find everything you could wish for. Jacquie was very friendly and responsive to my messages and it's a pity that I didn't get to meet her in person. I highly recommend the accomodation!
We spend five nights at the Fuschias and feel we could have stayed for many more. What a Lovely place, nice and quite, yet close to some pubs and stores with excellent food (please see jacquie's recommendations list in the cabin). Jacquie provide everything you can possibily need; a wide choice of DVD's, body boards and wetsuits, a BBQ to name a few! There is a good overview with walks around the area, things to see and do and great suggestions for lunch and diner. The location of the Fuschias is excellent, close to camp and tralee and with easy access to both the Dingle peninsula and ring of Kerry!! Please note that if you want to visit the UNESCO site of Skellig you have to make an advance booking if you actually want to enter the island; when we were there it was fully booked for the next 5 days. But the Fuschias will give you the perfect base to explore and enjoy this wonderful part of Ireland!! And it is a great place to take the kids.....
We loved our stay at the cabin! It's a very cozy space and felt like a home away from home. It's located in a beautiful setting, nearby nature as well as conveniences like pubs and shopping. There are many beautiful walks nearby, including the Dingle way, for outdoor enthusiasts. Jacquie was a gracious hostess and responded quickly to our questions. Would highly recommend this to anyone! Of note, the space is a bit tight (but still workable) for groups larger than 4.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The cabin is fantastic. We were down in Dingle for a short stay and Jacquie's place was absolutely perfect for us. There was four of us and an infant with more than enough space for us all. The giant bathtub and wood burning stove make this a very cozy place to listen to the watch the wild weather of the Dingle peninsula. We loved the place and hope we get a chance to return.
This cabin is absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice! We were just a party of two but it can easily sleep up to 7. The wood burner and the bath were my favourite things about this place! :)
The cosy cabin is hidden away which makes you feel like you are in this remote area- but in actual fact it is so close to everything including Dingle and Tralee. Luckily we were blessed with glorious weather for our stay, but if it was to rain there are endless amounts of books, dvds and board games to keep you occupied! Oh, and of course the Wii! (Wifi is available for an extra 25 euro).
Jacquie was the perfect host, and her housekeeper Eileen had everything ready for our arrival. The place was super easy to find and Jacquie's directions lead us directly to the door!
I was a bit nervous booking the cabin as there had been no previous reviewers on airbnb. However as soon as I arrived I spotted the visitors' book on the welsh dresser with nothing but glowing reviews dating back to 2008 from people all over the world.
Jacquie's cabin is my favorite place that I have stayed in a very long time and I love how reasonable the price was!
Thanks a mill for everything Jacquie, I hope I get to stay at the Fuschias again! xx
