Relaxing and quiet place in a somewhat rural neighborhood. Not a lot of tourists around, however Canggu area, beaches, etc are still easily reached by scooter. I even went to Tanah Lot, which took me about 30 minutes. Staff were friendly, and relatively eager to help out. I didn't enjoy the area as much, but if you do want to enjoy Kuta's beaches, however in a less touristy neighborhood, then this is your place.
The villa is true to description and a beautiful place to stay. The room was spacious and clean with a great comfortable bed and the pool area was a great chill out space. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here although it's very tiresome when attempting to locate it as no cab drivers have a clue where to find it. We had this problem everytime when coming home and no one answered the phone so be sure to get extra directions to assist your driver or it can add up on the meter when driving around lost.
Still a gorgeous place when looking for some quiet time. Thanks again for accepting a last minute booking!
We first came in 2012 and loved the place: the view to the rice fields, the interior design (and size) of the rooms, etc. The experience was Not as good this time. Obviously the maintenance of the place is very low: the wooden floor of the room was broken, one of the lamps had lost its shade and the one with the shade didn't have a bulb; there was a bug nest on the nice basket in the bathroom, its blinds could not close anymore, etc. The icing on the cake was seeing the remains of our dinner still on the table the next morning when we left at 6h30... It is a pity that such a beautiful place has gone down so much but I must recognized that it was very cheap for the area so...
I had a great time at this place and it really is beautiful. A bit far away though so if you don't know how to drive a scooter there isn't that much to tdo around the area. I thought it was kind of perfect though doing day trips to the busier places and then coming back to have a local dinner and stay in dalung :)
We loved staying here! It was definitely worth the price. Room was extremely spacious but cosy and clean. We loved the decor and down to earth feel of the whole place. They provided bike rentals, organised airport transfers, and had a really beautiful communal lounge area that sat next to the pool with a view. The service staff however, weren't the most impeccable, we had some trouble communicating with them but it didn't damper our liking to place. we would recommend on finding you own meals (breakfast too) and bringing it back to the place. It was also a short and straight forward bike ride to Canggu beaches! We will def be back!
