This is a remodeled, 2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex with hardwood floors in what many consider the best, and most fun area of Austin...78704! It's definitely the place to be during SXSW or ACL.
If you love to bike or walk, you are in the right place here. Barton Springs is only 1 mile away and you can easily bike to downtown Austin and numerous restaurants, Yoga, gym and dance studios. If you are into healthy food and exercise, you will love this custom remodeled duplex and this part of town.
There are two futons that will sleep 4 in the living room, and a master bedroom with an all natural cotton/wool queen size bed.
The 2nd bedroom has office amenities and will also sleep two. The bed is an elevated queen size air bed with a thick memory foam mattress that is more comfortable than many standard beds.
The bathroom is fairly large and easily accommodates 2 people at once.
Office: Color printer and Wi Fi.
Living Room: Once you pull back the curtains on the beautiful alter, you will see a 50 inch Plasma TV with Blu Ray player. Close the curtain and the room is peaceful and a great space for meditation. There is also an IQ air filter machine that clears away any possible pollens!
Kitchen: Granite counter tops with a gas range and microwave, an Ozarka spring water dispenser with instant HOT and COLD water, an Omega Juicer, Vitamix blender and a dishwasher all support whatever level of healthy eating you desire.
Washer and Dryer: Take care of all your cleaning right here at home. Washer and dryer are in the carport.
Outdoor Space: Relax outside on an indoor couch, set over stained concrete with a large rug. All next to a small garden area.
This is a really sweet neighborhood with great people in it and a beautiful place to take a walk in the evening or ride your bike. Juiceland and numerous health food locations abound as well as Austin's gem...Barton Springs. All are within 1 to 2 miles from this home.
The driveway will accommodate 2 cars and the bus stop is right down the street, less than a 5 minute walk.
Yogis and dancers and musicians love this neighborhood and you will too!
No smoking!!! Please keep the air nice and clean in the home. Also, please keep the noise level down and be respectful of neighbors. Austin is a great place to party, it's just better to do it away from the house! :) It's a very laid back place here and I would love to keep it that way. Thanks!
Very nice house, comfortable, close to everything. On a quiet side street in a very safe neighborhood. We walked to Zilker Park for Austin City Limits and it was very close and a nice walk. The house is well equiped, clean, good amount of space. Beds are comfortable and the wi-fi worked well. Lakshmi is a warm, gracious host and made sure we had everything we needed.
Lakshmi's Barton Springs spot was the absolute perfect location to crash for ACL fest! Her home was welcoming and spotless and made our Austin experience that much better! Lakshmi herself was also very helpful in pointing out some hip spots that were easily walkable for food or necessities. Definitely recommend for a long weekend adventure for a fun group!
Great experience, perfect location! Lakshmi made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend her home.
Great time in Austin. Lakshmi took good care of us. Even got the game on for us AND found us an Iron. Would recommend to anyone.

I'm a satisfied free spirit who's into meditation, yoga, dancing, totally being who I am, and being with other people right where they are. I'm incredibly active, and you can usually find me doing all the above, or cycling, or hanging out at the best natural swimming hole in the entire country - Barton Springs.
I am a follower of Mata Amritanandamayi, (Amma The Hugging Saint) and travel many times throughout the year to work with her and be in her beautiful presence. While I'm there, maybe you will be staying at my place!
I couldn't live without meditation, healthy food, movies, dancing and yoga, and my beautiful friends.
