About This Listing
Can't get much closer to the ocean than this. Stumble out of bed , down past the best coffee ever and into the waves. Spend the rest of the day on the balcony gazing out at blue horizon or people watching as the whole world passes by. 1or2 bedroom rental.
This might be the closest you can get to the ocean, the whales, the waves and the sea breeze. Bondi is a big place stretching up the hill. We have a front row view.
An access card to Icebergs means you can swim and sauna every day just across the road. Walk to the corner and catch an express bus into the city if you want to explore.
Interaction with Guests
I come and go a lot for work but if I'm here and you are renting a bedroom, lets share a meal! If you have rented the whole apartment , whilst I am just a phone call away I tend to keep out of the way . You are welcome to make the place your own.
Bondi is Bondi! What' s not to love about it?
The bus to the city, Circular Quay and Bondi Junction is on the corner of our street.
Please note that as we are in an apartment block and I'm very fond of my neighbours there is a no party policy.
This is a great location to stay in Sydney with hard-to-get parking available. Cate was there to meet us in person (but even if she hadn't been, her very clear instructions would have been easy to follow). Cate's apartment has fantastic views, is airy, accurately depicted by the photos and feels like a home away from home. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Our adult family of 4 had a wonderful stay.We arrived to hot bread fresh flowers and well stocked fridge and pantry. This apartment is amazingly positioned looking out across Icebergs down Bondi Beach. The Bondi-Coogee walkway starts outside and there is a constant flow of people .Surfers are on the water below from dawn to dark so there is never a dull moment!Buses and taxis are 100m away and its a quick trip to Bondi Junction or the Sydney CBD if you can drag yourself away. There are cafes restaurants and bars all around and the daily swim at Icebergs or in the surf to keep healthy.Beds were comfortable and the apartment sunny and roomy. The neighbours are quiet. This apartment is just great and we'd look to come back. Thanks Cate,Mark and Cathy (New Zealand).
Amazing location and good apartment. Couldn't be better situated for all of Bondi's attractions. Cate is a really good host.
We absolutely loved the apartment and will be staying there again for sure!
The view is unparalleled, I woke up to the waves crashing on Bondi beach below.
The location is amazing, right on top of Icebergs restaurant and pool and a beautiful coastal walk. And of course PERFECT access to Bondi beach.
The apartment was lovely and very comfortable.
The photos are damn accurate when it comes to Cates place, its AMAZING! For anyone who loves to sit and watch the ocean, this place is for you. From the comfort of the lounge or either bedroom (even the bathroom and kitchen!) you can see Bondi beach and the ocean stretching far beyond.
The apartment has the feel of going to a well accommodating friends place, but with a way better view! Plenty of blankets to keep you warm, lots of towels, speakers with cord to plug in phone/ ipad etc, wifi and tea/ coffee in the kitchen.
We didn't get the chance to meet Cate in person but she was very accommodating, even leaving a nice big baguette in the kitchen for our hungry arrival. Cate was quick to reply to msgs and has a really friendly vibe.
Thanks Cate, we'll be back!
The location of Cate's flat above Icebergs pool at Bondi Beach really made our stay in Sydney special. It was cosy and perfect for 2 couples, with good cooking facilities and parking. We had a wonderful time.

About the Host, Cate
I am at a wonderful point in life, playing and working hard to realise the dream of YogaPass ((website hidden)) check it out....I move around Australia and beyond and spend half my time in orbit doing so.
My daughters are both in their twenties and I love spending time with them... swimming, yoga, cooking and hanging with friends and focussing on the bigger picture.
To be truly original is to be in touch with your origins...yoga gives me that.
