Sharon was a fantastic host who made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in the door.
The apartment is housed in a converted linen press, with high loft ceilings and beams. The bedroom is full of light, warm and sports a very funky decor with a great view. The bathroom is loaded with towels and a hot shower. It’s a few minutes’ walk from Crumlin Road Jail, which is a great museum, and across the road from a weekend market. It's about a 20 minute walk downhill into the city, otherwise a taxi is only a few pounds.
She guided us around the city on our first night and recommended some great places to eat and drink, being a chef herself she knew the best stuff. We loved getting to know her and Belfast over drinks. She was laid back, approachable and always very friendly, going out of her way to make sure we had a good time.
We had such a wonderful time in Belfast, and much of that was thanks to having such a fun and friendly host. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Thanks for everything Sharon, we're so glad we stayed at your place and got to know you!
It speaks volumes about both the apartment and Sharon herself that I consider it to be one of the highlights of the trip. The place is so homely and full of wonderful, curious decorations that you can't help but instantly feel at ease. Not to mention it's 15 minutes walk from the city centre.
Sharon herself was a wonderful host, very informative about the city and the best way to spend our day in Belfast. Warm, welcoming, friendly, and a top-notch chef to boot! I couldn't recommend this place more
Funky decor and simple to find, once told the address.
I wasn't sure what was expected of me as a guest so spent the whole evening in my room - Sharon was working and got home late. I never actually got to meet her as I left early, missing out on a requested breakfast.
Found my own towel to use.
Perhaps a 'welcome' sheet would be useful spelling out the 'common' areas?
Paula, thanks for the feedback on the welcome sheet, as i had mentioned to you in our messages, to make yourself at home (basically free reign of the apartment, as if it was your home away from home) with regard to breakfast, i never received the request as i would have sorted something for you :-)and the en suite was fully loaded with towels, shampoo, and shower gel. I hope you had a wonderful time in Coleraine, all the best.
Excellent accommodation!!! This apartment is perfect for accommodation in Belfast. It is clean, warm and beautifully decorated. A really unique quirky place, with plenty to look at and admire. Sharon was very accommodating and her home felt like our home for our two night stay. Would highly recommend this apartment as a convenient location also.
Sharon is an absolute star. The apartment is amazing, the showers are awesome. The room is extremely comfortable, best nights sleep ever! Really close to the city. All in all a top notch place to stay & I would give my highest recommendations!
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Sharon is a great host and really helpful! The apartment is fab, really quirky with lots to look at. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks Sharon for a lovely time,
