One of the most prestigious neighborhood in SF, surrounded by some of the city's best restaurants and shopping boutiques.
There are a few bus stops within 5 blocks.
Place was great - well located and clean. Fay was great to work with, offering to let us drop bags off early. We never used kitchen, but it seemed well stocked. 3rd BR and bed is too small for two, but we made it work.
Our family had a fantastic time in SF. The apartment had all essentials needed and the location was excellent. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Can't wait to return!
The neighborhood was fantastic and the place was nice, pretty accurate from the photos, though a little bit "older" feeling, especially the fixtures. I should have contacted the host before the stay because I realized that there were no instructions on how to get in, and it was a bit frantic to have my sister and her friends all arriving and my not being able to reach the host right away. My advice would be to definitely contact the host in advance like AirBnB suggests to coordinate check-in.
The deck and the eating area were my favorite parts of the weekend. My sister loves to cook, so we made breakfast and sat at the indoor eating area that was right next to the deck sliding door, and just looked out at the fantastic view while a gentle breeze was blowing. It sat the 5 of us perfectly and was the perfect setting for great conversation and ultimately a wonderful memory for us.
My only complaint is that there are no mirrors except for in the bathroom, and the electricity in ONLY the bathroom was out. All the other outlets worked. The host mentioned an electrician but none came, so we all had to either deal with not being able to style our hair or running back and forth from the bathroom to our rooms with our semi-heated styling tools. This part wasn't ideal. I would suggest updating the wiring or installing more mirrors in the bedrooms. It was also difficult to find the light switch for the living room. It was behind a piece of furniture, so some of our evening was spent sitting in the dark in the living room before one of us found the light switch.
If not for the mirror thing and the electricity, I would have rated it 4 stars.
Very nice place to stay, the view is wonderful and the appartement is clean. Fay responded very quickly to all our email.
The host canceled this reservation 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This is a beautiful home for a stay in San Francisco. The host have very clear directions on how to get into the apartment and everything was very clean. The views are great when not a foggy San Francisco day. Perfect place for two couples or a small family to stay. Also the location serves as a great jumping off point for your San Francisco adventures.
The unit is very well located, within easy distance of most attractions. Its a good base to explore the city from on foot.
Inside the unit is adequate, without being anything more. It has high ceilings and a fair bit of space. It is a little tired.
It works best if used as a two double bed apartment. The third room is off the kitchen and has an old sofa bed which is fine for one or two kids but may not suit a third couple.
Beatrice was welcoming and responsive.
