Our villa offers exquisit comfort with antique beds, air con, fresh seafood caught by the local fisherman and fresh fruits from the garden.
We are located between the airport and the city center “Mji Mkongwe”. The wonderful and green area of Mazizini is not only home to a wonderful beach, you will also live right amongst Zanzibar´s most important people, as the president´s residence and other official residents are only a few meters away.
All of our rooms face our beautiful garden. We provide B&B as well as delicious Zanzibari meals. The bar serves non-alcoholic beverages only. Lunch boxes and quick meals for travellers can be made available. Business lunch and dinner are available upon request.

We love to hear from you!
Daladala stop right in front of the house.
All was great - the house (the 8 of us occupied all 5 rooms in the 2 buildings), the garden, breakfast, overall hosting & services, information provided before and on the spot, assistance given while organising daily tours on Zanzibar etc. The ocean is "on the doorstep", only a short downhill climb away from the house - a nice though not an elite class beach with a small fishing village just nearby. Perfect for quick (morning) swims and sunbathing. Thus, once staying at Fatma's B&B, you can actually see bits and parts of the usual life on Zanzi.…And feel the hospitality of the locals :)
However, as a remark, the 3 rooms in the main building are definitely of a better grade than the 2 in the side building where there is less space, daylight and air.
My husband and I spent one night in the hotel. The room was quite big, clean, the bed big and comfortable and just as we had seen it on the pictures of the website. The bathroom was clean, though nobody hat told us to put on the heater in order to have a hot shower. But after we had figured that out it warmed up quickly. Because the hotel is situated close to the main road it isn´t very quiet at night. Breakfast was ok. It is served outside viewing the garden. There was no milk, so we had tea without milk. All in all we would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean place to spend a night.
