Dale is a wonderful host: the communication was prompt and all information provided in advance.
The colorful apartment is unique in its floorplan and has a flair of south european living. The porch in the backyard is a little oasis to lean back after a long day of exploring Pittsburgh. We have been able to bring our puppy - we had to secure some of Dales proberty, so please don't wonder, Dale, that not everything was in place ;).
Deutschtown is an upcoming district with little stores and old fashioned diners that we enjoyed in the morning.
Check out time is 3 pm, but Dale didn't hesitate to give us more time so that we have been able for a last sight seeing trip through Pittsburgh without leaving all our luggage in the car.
After having a great time in Pittsburgh there are only two little things that would make it easy to give full points: leaving more space in the fridge and a new shower curtain
Dale and Kyle are two of the loveliest most generous hosts I've had. Their home is comfortable, homey (with a great kitchen and back patio) and clean, and in a great neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. I also loved hangingout with their sweet dog, Sophie. If i'm ever back in Pittsburgh I'll be looking them up again. Thanks for a great week, guys! Highly recommrnded!
My mother and I stayed with Dale for two nights during a road trip in the dead of winter, and though we never actually got to meet her, we were greeted by her very kind husband Kyle, we had a lovely stay, and spent some quality time with her incredibly sweet dog Sophie. The house is very cute, and in a charming neighborhood that was very conveniently located for our adventures in Pittsburgh.
Dale and Kyle were great hosts. They were very friendly, clean, and respectful, and made sure that my stay was comfortable.
The place was warm, comfortable and close to the city. There is a super market near by and a taxi to the bus station was only $6. Dale & Kyle left the place clean and there was lots of fresh food that they left for us. Overall my stay was more than pleasant, the only things that would've made it better would be wifi and a microwave.
We had a wonderful time with Dale and Kyle. I haven't met all people on earth yet but chances are these two are among the friendliest. They made it really easy for us to enjoy our stay. Thank you! Verena, Henning and little Jette
