Welcome to Rocksprings, a spacious, gated home nestled at the edge of the woods just 15 minutes outside Athens, Ohio. Located on the grounds of Rocksprings Wellness (formerly Fur Peace Ranch), this property carries a rich creative history and has been thoughtfully reimagined as a peaceful retreat. Situated on 42 acres with walking trails and surrounded by nature, Rocksprings is a place to slow down, rest, and reconnect. Pool opens May 28, 2026.

The space
We’re so glad you’re here. Rocksprings is a place meant to be experienced slowly. The land has a long history of creativity, gathering, and care, and today it’s held as a space for rest, reflection, and quiet connection.

You’ll find room to wander, breathe, and settle in—inside and out. We invite you to explore the trails, enjoy the stillness, and make yourself comfortable. This is a shared landscape with nature, and part of its beauty is its unpredictability.

While Rocksprings feels tucked away, you’re still within easy reach of nearby places to explore:
• Pomeroy is just 10–15 minutes away, with a charming downtown along the Ohio River
• Ohio University is about 20 minutes away in Athens
• Bailey’s Trail System is about 30–40 minutes away for hiking and biking
• Hocking Hills State Park is about 45–55 minutes away for waterfalls and deeper forest trails
