The house sits in a beautiful, wooded lot, overlooking the historic New River, and Railroad Grade Road, which is known for its wonderful bike riding accessibility. It is in a quite neighborhood, with homes built about 50 years ago. The house is very private, surrounded by so many trees that you hardly know you have neighbors. A couple of miles up the road is Todd Island, where you can easily access the river, as well as kayaks and tubes for rent. The New River is also a well known destination for fly-fishing. Both Boone and West Jefferson are with 15 minutes of this home, providing local entertainment, restaurants, coffee,
shopping, etc.
